An Airbnb, located at 723 W Allen St., is claiming city property as private property. The land on the west end of the park located at 1126 S Fairview St., is being rented out as a parking lot and used to store vehicles, dog kennel etc. Altercations have occurred when children and dog walkers attempt to access the area as the adjacent property owner claims that it is theirs because they maintain it (mowed the grass). The neighborhood would like to see this green space no longer rented out and used for personal storage of one individual.

but there’s a large dead deer just east of 1906 S Hillside Drive, Bloomington, IN 47401, on the south side of the road, lying partially on the sidewalk. It’s summer; I walk past there often to take the bus; it’ll be horrible very soon…

The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike. Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me. Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light. Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right. City ally I keep 2/3 mowed used to be 3/4 but overgrowth keeps on coming. Poison Ivy is also growing in the overgrowth. To my knowledge, no one has touched it this growing season. It’s out of control. It is also in the way of the service I pay to mow the city alley , my yard and the tree lot out front. I also have concerns about the growth on the side of the house that is entwined in the utility lines.

Hello, I work at Teach and Play ABA and it’s owned by Sara Shrivastav. She sent us an email in regards to the fire safety issues that she was made aware of and she hasn’t any intentions of making changes as of right now. I’m concerned because we’ve already had a fire in the facility and it was very poorly handled. I’m worried for the safety of myself, coworkers and children at the facility. She wrote us an email saying we are not allowed to let you in the building and it’s just very concerning to me. She has already opened two more facilities and they also don’t have sprinklers or fire alarms and I ultimately just want to make sure we’re in a safe environment. I’m also not sure if it’s structurally sound. She did a lot of the remodeling by herself so if there’s anyway someone could check that and make sure things are up to standard because she had mercury lightbulbs which caused the first fire, I would really appreciate that. Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns regarding this matter.

A tree or bush is blocking the sidewalk at the corner of S Larkspur Lane and W Allen Street, and it is causing difficulty with a driver's line of vision of oncoming traffic when pulling out of Larkspur Lane onto eastbound on Allen Street.

June 25 storm. Very large evergreen/pine trees blew over. Insurance says it’s the city’s responsibility to clear the blocked sidewalk. Myself and my neighbors cannot see to exit our driveways. Feel free to contact me for any questions. Thank you!
