illegal "massage" business is advertising on CL and just thought you should have a heads up. As a legal, legit, licensed massage therapist this stuff taints my professional experience. http://bloomington.craigslist.org/tlg/4488623313.html
I have recently moved to Bloomington from Lafayette. Is there any way I can update my conceal carry permit address online? Or do I have to come in personally and change it at the police station?
There is a car abandon at Will Detmer park. 4140 W. Vernal Pk. It has been there over 90 days and has not moved.
Do you know of any local gun safety class?
Hello. I live at 3210 Kensington Park Drive. For more than a year, one of my neighbors has kept a vehicle parked along the curb in front of his house. It is an old BMW and covered with a tarp. The vehicle has flat tires and is never moved. Not only is this unsightly, but interferes with city services such as leaf pickup, snow removal, street cleaning, etc. I do not have the address of the house it is in front of, but it is about 4 doors to the west of my home, on the same side of the street. It would be obvious to see when you turn onto my street. I'm not sure where to report this, so if this is not the correct department, please advise. Thank you for any help you can give to me.
Hi. Sorry to bother you again, but I wrote earlier today about a vehicle that has been sitting along the curb on our street for at least a year, maybe two. The owners of the vehicle live at 3108 Kensington Park Drive. Thank you for your attention!
Traffic along 1st and 2nd Streets and Henderson continues to increase in volume, speed, and non-compliance with stop signs. This is especially evident during morning and afternoon rush hours. Drivers have found they can cross town faster by cutting through core neighborhoods and ignoring traffic laws, than using major thoroughfares. Increased police presence would likely get these cars back on major roads. It is important the city realizes that it is the breaking of traffic laws that is making this traffic pattern desirable for drivers. I live at 1st and Henderson and less than 50% of cars come to a complete stop at this intersection.
A station wagon, white and brown, flat tires and no back window parked for months on the east side of Pine St between W Kirkwood and W 6 th
Please update your police officers on policies regarding insurance, warranted searched, and speed limit postings. I was pulled over yesterday by a police officer who said I was tailgating yet speeding, and when I explained I was tailgating because I had to slam on my brakes since he pulled out into the lane. I believed he was making an emergency maneuver, however was just trying to get in traffic. He pulled me over, said he would cite me if I did not have my insurance, which I did, but it is also a law that I have 24 hours to provide that proof. It is also a law that if he has no reason to search my trunk, he cannot. However, he asked and I, politely, said yes. However, this was not necessary as there was no probable cause to search. Luckily my father is IMPD and was in direct contact with his supervisor. But I would like to make the city aware of this incident, as I felt very uncomfortable. Especially when said officer kept saying things were expired, then changing his mind when I said they were not. He was very unprofessional, and as someone who has been around law enforcement for 21 years, exhibited very concerning behavior. Thank you.
