There is a parking space on Cardinal Ct next to #921 that I use when I can't get in our driveway (I have a disability), but the snow plows have been piling the snow there. It also creates an obstacle for the mailman. Another place the snow got piled in the last storm was in front of our and our other neighbor's mailboxes, so that our mailman had to get out and climb over the mound of snow to deliver our mail, for a week or two after the last snow storm. I hate to complain, especially when there's a storm and a lot of extra work to do, but this seems dangerous for him. We live on a culdesac so there are other places the snow could be piled instead of these two spots, which would help us and our mailman greatly. Thank you for all you do!

Cardinal Ct and RCA Park Drive need to be plowed, is it possible a crew can come and do this before the snow and slush freeze? Currently there are deep tire tracks in the snow, and when that freezes, or even now when it's slush, it's very tough to drive on. Seems like it could start getting really cold out there and freeze soon, I'm hoping someone will be able to come out and plow again before that happens. Thank you! Stay warm!

Early morning on Monday 1/6/14 a city snow plow somehow got his blade extended past the curb at the front of my property and plowed up as much as 30 to 40 SF of sod from the area between the back of the curb and the sidewalk. I suppose legally this area is city ROW, but it will still need to be repaired come next spring. Thank you in advance for your help.

Sorry, but this was the most appropriate place I could find. I think the street department does a terrific job. However, I have a complaint about the actions of a snowplow. I live at 344 S. Rogers st. I went out several times yesterday to keep my front sidewalk clean. Sometime after 8 pm a snowplow came by so fast that snow was thrown not only on my sidewalk but also on the retaining wall next to the sidewalk, see the picture. What is even more annoying is that the same snowplow did not do this to my next door neighbor. I hope that in the future the snowplow driver will have more understanding of the problems with going too fast and ruining a homeowners hard work. Thank you

Large areas of potholes, some very deep, on Highland Avenue. The worst area is just north of Winslow Road, where the Winslow Trail merges with the sidewalk on Highland. Often filled with water so it is difficult to tell how deep they are when driving. Also, large areas of potholes are present on both sides of Rogers Road, toward the top of the hill at the entrance to The Stands neighborhood (up the east hill from the Winslow/High/Rogers Roundabout). There is a curb cut on Hunter Ave, it seems have serviced a vacated alley, right behind 502. S. Hawthorne. The house owners have fence the area, so perhaps they believe they own it, but GIS sees it as an alley. I was walking down west on Hunter after dark on Sunday evening, and the shrubbery shadows the street lights. Even though I have been a neighborhood resident for 2 decades, I forgot that I had to step down when on the sidewalk, and I stumbled a bit, caught myself, but then hit the curb on the other side, and fell on the sidewalk, thus abrading my right elbow and knee. I see no reason for the curb cut, and am requesting that it be filled in. We have numerous people out at night walking dogs, taking the night air, and I can imagine a more serious accident here, especially if one is elderly (at 67, I fell pretty fit.) I do feel stupid that I was not paying attention to a hazard I have been aware of for years, but there it is. Requesting additional snow removal at the intersection of Wynndale Drive and West 3rd street. The intersection by Bounds and McPike Carpet is very slick and full of snow and ice. Cars are having trouble getting up the hill there.

At the southwest corner of East Third St. at the 45-46 Bypass, there's a pile of snow that makes it difficult for pedestrians to move from the sidewalk to the crosswalk (heading east) or from the crosswalk to the sidewalk (heading west). I had to dodge briefly into the lane for cars. I know it's hard to keep all of the corners clear for pedestrians, but that's a busy corner, and even in this weather there are still some pedestrians out and about along that stretch of E. Third.

City did not plow and treat streets i Hearthstone Village in either od the last two snows. Nature's Way has the contract for drive way and sidewalk snow removal in Hearthstone village has plowed the streets somewhat, but not treated them. My understanding is that these are city streets. they have always ben plowed by the city before and my understanding that these streets are city responsibility. Please correct this oversight.
