On April 6th I reported eight sidewalk problems along the north side of Heather Dr. between Grasstree Ct. and Laurel Ct. I included photos and also mentioned these could be a safety hazard, especially for many of our older residents. The following day I received a call back which was much appreciated. Although some work has been done (see last paragraph), nothing at all was done to the most uneven slab. It is directly across from 700 Heather on the NORTH side of the street near a mailbox cluster. See 701_E_Heather_Dr.jpg. There is a full 2" difference in height. I am reporting this particular one again, because a resident tripped on it April 27th and received bruises and abrasions to her face and hands. Her name is Barbara Wachholz, and she lives at 3708 Grasstree Ct. A neighbor was concerned enough to photograph her face. Fortunately, no bones were broken. I notice some of these raised/uneven slabs were recently beveled or chipped off which could probably help. But I don't believe this was done thoroughly enough to help very much. For example the other end of the slab adjacent to the one I mentioned above wasn't chipped off all the way across. Please advise. Thank you, Marvin Allen, 3907 S. Laurel Ct. The Emeriti House at 1015 E. Atwater serves the retired faculty at IU. Currently the entrance to the alley behind the house is blocked off at Hawthorne for some minor resurfacing. Tomorrow, Fri 5/15, Faculty Ave will be resurfaced, so the entire access to the alley will be blocked off. I have two retired professors coming by tomorrow, one to pick up a very LARGE piece of art to transport to the Convention Center for a presentation. Emeriti House also has its art exhibit going on this month, as we do every year. Is this alley going to be open from the Hawthorne side by tomorrow morning? My professor must have access to the alley and our ramp for this piece of art. I would appreciate a quick reply so I can contact him about this. Also, in future, if the alley is being worked on or blocked, could someone please call me, as it impedes the traffic and our clientele, as most are retired and some use canes, etc. Thank you! Nat

The sign at the intersection of S. Maple Street and Kirkwood (area code: 47403) was taken or removed several months ago and hasn't been replaced. This is a major intersection for those traveling to Maple Street and having signage back would be most helpful for those less familiar with this area. Many thanks for your assistance.

Streetlight - Light does not come on. Located on grassy area directly across from 719 N. Keystone Court in Tamarron subdivision off of Tenth Street (near Smith Road).

I have called and asked for a response and received none. The street in front of 2745 E. Elderberry Court has crumbled across a large area - probably 5 feet by 8 feet or more. Please call me with information as to how this problem will be fixed. Thank you.

The seam along the crown of S. Ketcham Road has opened up. Would it be possible for a crew to come out and patch the seam?

The street light on E88 st and Old Shakopee Rd has been out for a while. That corner is very dark at night and the light needs to be fix. This is my second email i have sent with my concerns about this light. Can you please send someone out and fix it.
