We have a very large past-due balance on our bill that doesn't make sense to me. We have paid the bill on time every single time since we moved in august 2023. In November there was a leak and we got a statement credit to cover that cost which reduced the bill to zero for that month. but Since then, there has been a large past due balance that I don't really understand. We've been charged an exorbitant amount in the water bill for December. The house was empty with no tenant for more than half the month with all the water supply turned off. It is impossible that the meter reading has come to such a high number! Even if the house was in use for the entire month still the consumption has never cost over 70-90 dollars. Please check into the readings and the bill as this is an atrocious for us students to pay!
