There is a large pile of trash dumped behind the High Point Commercial property on North Walnut Street. This trash is blowing into the backyards of neighboring properties on Washington Street.
There are 2 ripped up trash bags lying on the sidewalk at 710 N Lincoln. Trash is spilling out on the sidewalk.
Blood running out of uncollected garbage bags at 703 North Washington Street and pooling on the sidewalk! There are flies swarming around this mess.
700 washington, excessive growth
The construction at the corner of 11th and Walnut of the new apartment building has left this area of Walnut hazardous and capable in inflicting vehicle damage even when travelling slowing, especially the utility cut across Walnut which has not been filled in to be even with the road surface. This is the same type of problem that existed at 11th and Rogers but is horizontal across the street instead of diagonal across the intersection. The problem at 11th was fixed but this one needs attention ASAP to prevent damage to vehicles and subsequent claims to the city for that damage. There are also breaks and holes and bumps in the pavement at the crest and going down the other side towards 12th street and so on. Some utility company cut a hole in the asphalt here and then did an abysmal job of filling it in
Botched pavement repair has caused a big dip over one side of the street. I think the property owner adjacent to the issue had a sewer line repair maybe?
