There is a 2 by 1 foot pothole that was intentionally dug in the alley that runs behind the property.So the pothole is between the property and the Hutton Honors College. Don't know if the city or party that dug it was looking for pipes or what, but the hole has been there for almost two weeks unfilled. There are 6 parking spots all in a row behind the property. The pothole is dug in such a way that it is directly behind a parking spot making the spot unusable. Also, when the pothole was initially dug there was already a car in the parking spot. The pothole was dug directly behind the tires of the car making it impossible to avoid when the car backed out. May want to instruct crews or whichever party was responsible not to do that. Pothole should not be hard to spot. Please let me know at the email address provided when to expect the pothole to be filled and if there is any other info you need Thank You

It seems that the timing of the traffic lights on College through downtown needs to be re-set or something. I drive that route 4 mornings a week at about 5:45 am and typically I will stop at a light at either 10th or 11th and from then on it's smooth sailing. Starting last week, the timing was off, and since then I've had to stop at as many as 5 intersections between 11th and 1st Streets. Just wanted to let you know! :) Thanks!

Light stays on even though no traffic is coming as you head west on Kirkwood. Does not seem to be activating based on traffic. The corner of Adams and Kirkwood

On March 2, 2016, I submitted a question about the lack of painted crosswalks for pedestrians crossing 3rd Street at Jordan Avenue. I received a prompt reply from Matt Smethurst, saying that the intersection would be torn up soon for stormwater improvements, and the crosswalks would be completed after that. There was indeed work completed over the summer, and the curbs now look very nice, but almost a year after my original question, there are still no crosswalks painted in the street. Are they going to appear sometime?

Dear Government, I have been living here for about 13 years, and in this time it has become clear to me that there is a problem at the intersection between Rusgan Drive and Ramble Road West. You see this intersection has been my bus stop for years, and whether it's the dark of morning when I leave or daylight when I get back people speed right by as if there were no speed limit. This is only made worse by the fact that the intersection is half blind because it lies at the bottom of a small hill. So for the well being of myself and the children of the neighborhood I am requesting that this intersection be changed to a three way stop. I believe this would force the people of the neighborhood to drive at a more reasonable speed and therefore make my street much safer. I believe my neighbor across the street, the father of a small child, previously wrote the city requesting the same thing. I myself am just a teenager. So you know that once the problem has reached the point where a teenager takes time where they could have been doing nothing to write the city about traffic regulation, it's probably not just nothing. And considering others have written about this in the past, I frankly find it foolish to wait until someone actually gets hurt to take action. Thank you for your time and consideration, P.S. I apologize if this came across as somewhat hostile, I know whoever reads this is probably not at fault.

The intersection at north 10th, Smith road, and Russell road is one of the most dangerous in Bloomington. I believe there needs to be a traffic light there to allow people to turn from Smith Road. It's almost impossible for drivers coming off Smith Road to turn either right or left onto 10th or Russell, especially during rush hour traffic. Visibility is poor because 10th street curves in unusual ways at that intersection, and none of the two-way traffic wants to yield. Bus traffic from 10th Street compounds the problem. I work for IU Campus Bus Service. Saturday, we were driving a special service that necessitated that we use the new portion of Woodlawn Avenue. (Once the railroad crossing is complete, buses will go up and down Woodlawn Avenue from the Stadium to Campus and back about 70 times a day during the week.) I noticed that a vehicle was parked on Woodlawn just north of 14th St. on the east side of the street blocking the bike lane, but mostly out of the lane of car traffic. I also noticed there are no "No Parking" signs on this new stretch of Woodlawn. Can those be added to prevent people from parking here? Thank you.
