Blocked Sidewalk

213 S Grant ST

Case Date:
7/8/2024

New BRU burger building has multiple downspouts that drain directly onto the Grant Street sidewalk. I don't believe this is allowed with new construction?

South side of 3rd St, between Woodscrest and Overhill, there's a construction sign and posts laying down across the sidewalk and completely blocking it. Thank you!

Potholes, Other Street Repair

3927 S Baytree LN

Case Date:
7/5/2024

There is a hole on Baytree Ln. It is a prefect 12 inch circle implying something fits in it. It is 3 ft from the north side of Baytree Ln. At that location there is a parking lot with a sign that says, "THIS AREA FOR GUEST PARKING ONLY" on the north side. The address 3927 Baytree Ln is on the south side. This hole is very dangerous. A person walking there could not see it, setp in it and get badly injured. That could happen to me when I walk to my mail box. A person driving there could not see it, drive over it and get a bad jolt. That has happened to me. This situation needs to be taken care of.

Potholes, Other Street Repair

509 E Southern DR

Case Date:

Botched pavement repair has caused a big dip over one side of the street. I think the property owner adjacent to the issue had a sewer line repair maybe?

Accessibility Problem

418 E 8th ST

Case Date:
7/2/2024

Vegetation overgrowth on sidewalk. Not sure if this is responsibility of CFC who owns the parking lot or the house owner of 418 E. 8th as it appears to be in between. But there is now a path that people are going into the grass because nobody can get by the tree branches on the sidewalk.

Sewer Problems (Sanitary Sewers)

2421 N Skyline DR

Case Date:
7/2/2024

I discovered that AEG had drilled through my sewer tile after calling plumbers several times to fix sewer blockages. On April 9, 2024, I contacted Eddie Helmondollar and his supervisor Dave Craig (cc:ed above) with pictures of the damage and a copy of the invoice I paid to the plumbing company ($2250). Dave says that he has repeatedly contacted Accounts Payable to check on the status of my claim. But despite my regular requests for help, I have not received any assurance the claim is being processed or when to expect the reimbursement. It is now July—3 months since I alerted AEG to the problem. Please assist me with this request. Thank you for any help you can provide. Street Lights

Case Date:
11/3/2018

We own a business at 14th and Walnut and often see horrible accidents at the corner of 14th and Walnut. We also see DAILY CLOSE CALLS with both pedestrians, cars/trucks and now certainly scooters! There are no stoplights between 17th and (I believe) 10th street. Coming down the hill from 10th street cars/trucks often RACE down the road right in front of us. Having a stoplight at the intersection I feel would reduce the number of speeding vehicles headed towards 17th street. Just this morning I saw someone walking across the street as two cars were speeding down Walnut. I don't know if one of them was distracted or not, but the person crossing the road nearly was hit and I am sure would have been killed. Thank you for looking into this.

Biking & Walking

Case Date:
10/18/2018

Could you please install a painted crosswalk at 3rd and E Grant? 3rd is very high traffic and as cars come around the corner heading west, it makes for a dangerous crossing for pedestrians who are given no right-of-way.

Sidewalk Requests

2495 S Walnut Street PIKE

Case Date:
10/5/2018

The sidewalk ends abruptly in a very dangerous intersection. This turn needs to be improved for pedestrian safety. The sidewalk should not be on only one side of the road, particularly in such a dangerous location for pedestrians to cross the road, just to have the sidewalk reappear only meters away.
