In the alley between caveat emptor and the jewelry store-- very close to (and visible from ) the sidewalk on Walnut. Very large on one side, smaller on the other, needs to be painted over ASAP. I own the building at 118 N. Walnut. Thanks.

There are several sidewalk cuts along Washington Street in front of the AT&T building that are covered with smooth metal pieces. These metal covers provide absolutely no traction when wet and are very dangerous for pedestrians. Can these please be replaced with the more common covers that have raised ridges to provide some traction?

Hello, At 7:30am, someone began jack-hammering the sidewalk immediately outside my apartment window at 222 N College Ave. There are several apartments facing that sidewalk at this location, and it is directly across the street from the Hilton Hotel. In other words, since many people may be trying to sleep in this area, it seems a bit unreasonable to start something so loud before 8am. Thanks for your attention to this matter. The curb cut has turned into a sink hole at the southwest corner of 9th and IN. The sidewalk on the opposite corner (north side of 9th between Indiana and Fess) is also a problem.
