I live at 913 W. 4th St. The alley that runs between my yard and Rose Hill Cemetery has not been plowed or treated in any way since the first December snow. It is pretty much a sheet of ice now. Although not a heavily driven alley, it is used by pedestrians frequently, and I've seen several over the last week slip and fall. It's also very difficult to drive on.
818 S. Stull Ave--between 1st and Maxwell Lane: please remove the leaves while the students are away. in this one block, there are five or six huge piles which were covered with snow--interfering with parking and causing great problems with the snow and ice. Please remove asap. MEB

Cardinal Ct and RCA Park Drive need to be plowed, is it possible a crew can come and do this before the snow and slush freeze? Currently there are deep tire tracks in the snow, and when that freezes, or even now when it's slush, it's very tough to drive on. Seems like it could start getting really cold out there and freeze soon, I'm hoping someone will be able to come out and plow again before that happens. Thank you! Stay warm!
Sorry, but this was the most appropriate place I could find. I think the street department does a terrific job. However, I have a complaint about the actions of a snowplow. I live at 344 S. Rogers st. I went out several times yesterday to keep my front sidewalk clean. Sometime after 8 pm a snowplow came by so fast that snow was thrown not only on my sidewalk but also on the retaining wall next to the sidewalk, see the picture. What is even more annoying is that the same snowplow did not do this to my next door neighbor. I hope that in the future the snowplow driver will have more understanding of the problems with going too fast and ruining a homeowners hard work. Thank you
Why is there snowpiled up at the Bloomington Hospital bus stops? Pedestrians have to climb over piles of snow or else stand in the street.
Large areas of potholes, some very deep, on Highland Avenue. The worst area is just north of Winslow Road, where the Winslow Trail merges with the sidewalk on Highland. Often filled with water so it is difficult to tell how deep they are when driving. Also, large areas of potholes are present on both sides of Rogers Road, toward the top of the hill at the entrance to The Stands neighborhood (up the east hill from the Winslow/High/Rogers Roundabout). 703 S Park, 705 S Park, 717 S Park, 723 S Park, and 600 S Ballantine are regularly not removing their snow/ice. It would be a great service if you could please watch this and/or provide a warning (or if warnings have not been heeded, then the appropriate city fine). The 700 block of S Park is not easy to walk down as a result of several of them clustering together and 600 S Ballantine, most winters, generally does not remove their sidewalk snow/ice making that corner a dangerous one to walk on. There is a curb cut on Hunter Ave, it seems have serviced a vacated alley, right behind 502. S. Hawthorne. The house owners have fence the area, so perhaps they believe they own it, but GIS sees it as an alley. I was walking down west on Hunter after dark on Sunday evening, and the shrubbery shadows the street lights. Even though I have been a neighborhood resident for 2 decades, I forgot that I had to step down when on the sidewalk, and I stumbled a bit, caught myself, but then hit the curb on the other side, and fell on the sidewalk, thus abrading my right elbow and knee. I see no reason for the curb cut, and am requesting that it be filled in. We have numerous people out at night walking dogs, taking the night air, and I can imagine a more serious accident here, especially if one is elderly (at 67, I fell pretty fit.) I do feel stupid that I was not paying attention to a hazard I have been aware of for years, but there it is.
