17th and Eagleson needs a traffic signal. Too dangerous for pedestrians and northbound Eagleson gets extremely backed up during busy hours
Storm water drain is clogged causing large “pond” of water on the north side of Atwater and potentially a storm runoff problem for property owners that could lead to flooding basements.
The Golden shear barbershop has recently passed over new ownership. The establishment and owner have been unlawfully operating without any legal licenses. The owner and barbers have been giving services to the public without proper training and ever obtaining a license through the state barber board as required. This matter is very important and serious as without the proper training diseases such as hepatitis, HIV, or other infectious diseases can spread. The use of the razor blade and the lack of training in sanitation and chemical control can be a danger to the public. With many students entering the establishment there’s a risk with the spread of these diseases. The city of Bloomington should hold this business up to standards and make sure they get barbers license and state board approval to operate.
In front of our home at 1314 S Grant there is a dip in the road that holds water for days and sometimes weeks after a rain. Last summer it served as enough standing water to be a bad mosquito breeding ground... would love for it to be patched such that it doesn't breed them again this year.
I totally appreciate the desire of the city to annex more city to provide city services. I grew up on S Hays Drive and sidewalks would have been great. However, now I live IN the city and I still have no sidewalks. I would LOVE all the streets in Bryan Park Neighborhood to have sidewalks. The way they were done for the newer S Dunn street houses is great with the recessed street parking. Why can't one of Bloomington's oldest neighborhoods have decent sidewalks?
their grass has had some very excessive growth
lawn is tall
City truck came through today to cite overgrown lawns. But he drove past lawns over 8 inches on Larkspur and didn't cite, nor did he drive through neighborhood to see all others with very overgrown lawns.
The light to the left of our house on our street is out.
