Trash in yard and on the ground outside of dumpster will NOT be removed by trash company. Bags have already been ripped open. Rats sighted. Landlord and tenants continue to ignore problems caused by trash on the grounds.
I found a street sign, together with the large metal pole, in my front yard today. Not sure how it got there ... but it appears to be a Bloomington street sign. Can you come collect it? 415 E. 1st Street
Hello, I am writing to make a complaint about the scooters that have appeared over the last few weeks from both Bird and Lime. This past Saturday, multiple scooters from both companies were simply abandoned in Bryan Park, some of which were blocking the sidewalks and paths through the park, some of which were leaning against trees and benches, all of which were eyesores in an otherwise lovely park. At one point in the afternoon, six or so Lime scooters were dropped off on the sidewalk by the Henderson St. lower parking lot by folks from Enterprise Rental, on the sidewalk, where people walk, run, etc. In Bloomington, we are fortunate to have bike racks everywhere. Would it be possible to require that users and companies place the scooters at bike rack locations? By simply allowing them to be left wherever, users are leaving them around without regard to others. This is also a bit of an issue with the Pace bikes. A few weeks ago, one was left leaning on the stop sign at Henderson and Davis, when there is a bike rack just a block away in the park. Cut tree branches were dumped in my yard today.
Green spray painted graffiti marked on my wall between 518 and 512 W Howe St. This appeared 4 to 6 weeks ago.
There is a pothole on the east side of High Street between Southdowns and Woodstock. The pothole is near the curb and near one of the utility poles. It is not the largest pothole I have recently seen but it is large enough to severely rattle a passing vehicle. It is also hard to avoid if traffic is coming from the north as one must cross over the center line to avoid the pothole.
Yesterday I visited the playground at Winslow Woods Park with my son. The playground space is in dire need of repair. The rubber flooring is patchy, worn, and disintegrating, creating trip hazards. The climbing jungle gym is rusty, with peeling paint and worn plastic. It does not seem structurally unstable, but could use at least some sanding and repainting to make it safer for young children. My experiences at other city parks and playgrounds have all been wonderful, so this seems out of character. I'd be interested to know if there is a barrier to repair/replacement of equipment at this park, if it is slated for removal, or if there is anything I can do as a resident to help advocate for its upkeep. We love to visit our parks and appreciate all the good work the Parks Department does for our community!

The sidewalk ends abruptly in a very dangerous intersection. This turn needs to be improved for pedestrian safety. The sidewalk should not be on only one side of the road, particularly in such a dangerous location for pedestrians to cross the road, just to have the sidewalk reappear only meters away.
