Trash was just picked up two days ago. Excessive amount of trash bags all around property. Pile of trash at bottom of driveway has been sitting out for weeks. Nothing ever gets done. Happens constantly. Property is filthy.
The school zone flashing lights did not appear to be flashing heading west (towards High Street) on 2nd street right before the school, despite children, crossing guards, and school busses present. (The lights were flashing heading east at the same time).
A couch was dropped off on the sidewalk. The couch is dirty and blocking the sidewalk.

We are the owners/residents at 809 S. Stull in Bloomington. I want to report an issue at a neighboring rental apartment. The owner/landlord a 812 S Stull dumped a bunch of junk on their front lawn of their building with a little sign saying "Free stuff." This is junk that should be collected and discarded (see photo). Can the city put pressure on this landlord to properly dispose of this stuff? It is obnoxious to have trash littering a property on a residential street for over a week now. Thank you!
The main electric wire from the pole to this house has been hanging low for nearly a full year after a limb fell on the wire and pulled the wire holder attachment anchor out of the house structure. We (Chickering Rentals) own and manage a rental next to this property at 1006 e 1st, and the electric wire for 1002 e 1st is hanging low enough to touch in our back yard and creating a hazard. I alerted Duke and they informed me that they cannot do anything to re-hang the wire until the property owner at 1002 e 1st re-mounts the wire holder anchor, or installs new service mast. I attempted to reach out to the owner of 1002 e 1st to ask them to make the necessary repair and was unsuccessful. Not sure if the city can do anything about this to help. The house at 909 S Dunn Street had a tree removed last week. Whomever hauled away the debris dumped the stump on our property and it is close to blocking the city fire hydrant. It needs to be removed.
Lawn not mowed this summer.
I am reporting this issue again, having to do with complaint #205576, with added information, and due to the fact that as of 9pm today/tonight (9/9/2025) none of the signs have actually been removed. I believe I also might've submitted to the wrong department. I have multiple photos, but it is only letting me upload the one of the sign on the opposite side of W. 3rd Street, which is currently secured to one of the city/county's traffic cameras, and is taking up some of the sidewalk, as it is more than just a simple signboard. The other 2 signs are located at the entrance to S. Yancy Ln. . One is mounted to the street sign for S. Yancy Ln. with plastic zip-ties, and the other one is secured to a "DEAD END" road sign, with what appears to be bungee cord. I believe the person who put the signs up resides at 106 Yancy Ln. and they should be cited/fined! The signs should also be removed either by city personnel or by the person who posted them immediately. Every day they remain where they are, it just encourages more residents to engage in the same activity.
A person has been pooping by the curb in front of the parks building on the corner of Smith and Washington Street. There has been one pile present for a month and more has come in the last few days. I work for The Project School and we use this sidewalk to go to and from the park. It would be helpful if it could be cleaned up as a child might step in it and it is a biohazard.
