Query the status of U-report case # 202258, re the ugly orange barriers, which can only be removed after Duke has made repairs.
I’m not sure what the rules of construction activity that is permissible, but I would assume that blocking private driveways and working in a residential neighborhood at 3AM is not allowed. My son and his roommates are seeing construction workers using their private yard to eat lunch and even order food to their address. This is absolutely unacceptable and do not believe it’s allowed by law to work a construction site, pouring concrete, etc. in the middle of the night in a residential neighborhood.
Construction continues to obstruct private driveway of my son’s rental. They are placing cones and blockades well onto their private drive. Additionally they are pouring concrete and making noise at 3-4 AM waking residents and renters. Not acceptable!!!!!
Late construction in the middle of the week. Sometimes between the hours 12am-5am.
Dead deer on roadside, east side of street
People are parking on the south side of Cottage Grove just west of Lincoln, which normally is ok but they are parking *all the way to the corner* of Lincoln, making it difficult to turn left onto Cottage Grove from Lincoln. But they really can't be blamed because the yellow curb there was ripped up over the summer when they put in the ADA-compliant plates and then didn't finish the job. Could the curbs indicating no-parking sections in this area be repainted yellow?
3rd and Lincoln stoplight heading east to turn onto 4th street never gives turn arrow. Only flashing yellow. Can’t ever get anything but one vehicle through. Please fix.
Vehicles driving east on Grimes often stop in the middle of the road (rather than in their "lane") at the stop sign at Woodlawn. This makes it impossible to turn onto Grimes from Woodlawn until they have moved on, leading to difficult and unpredictable traffic situations. Would it be possible to put a center line here on Grimes, just for the intersection and the approach to it? To encourage drivers on Grimes to be in their lane when they stop at the intersection.
