Yard Waste

This house falls into several catagories: yard waste, trash, overgrowth, parking. You need a category for House looks inhabitable. Supposedly the case on this house is closed. They have done nothing but pile a bunch of limbs up around the yard. This is NOT landscaping. Basically the yard waste is permanently piled in the front yard. Lots of junk piled in front of house too. Cars parked in street even though there is a driveway. Would be more room if they cleaned up the junk in it.

Two items:
1. Previously reported broken curb at 500 N. Walnut Street
2. Dead Tree: Assess and let us know if this is a property issue or a City issue. This is a rather small tree that needs to be removed. Let us know.
Thank you,

Hello,
I'm reaching out on behalf of my employer Hanapin Marketing. We currently reside in the Showers complex at 501 N. Morton Street, and our employees share the Showers Red Parking Lot with County employees. Over the last 6 months, we have all noticed a rise in crime in the parking lot, particularly with theft.
I've attached several police reports that have been filed in the last few months to support these claims. These are the incidents that were reported to the police, however, there have been others as well that were never filed. For example, in early January one of our employees had his door handle ripped off his car entirely. We are hoping that the city will notice this trend and assist us in our request to advocate for higher security and/or additional patrols in that area to deter thefts.
Please feel free to reach out with any other questions.
Best,
Pharyne Stephney

There is a dip in the road near this location and a pot hole has developed. The surface of the road needs to be raised to prevent the pot hole from reappering. It was fixed last year but is back again.

Hi,
There's a fair amount trash at the curb at 128 S. Clark that's been there for weeks. (The front of the house actually faces Fourth St., and that's where the trash is, on Fourth). I don't think any of it has trash stickers, so I can understand why it hasn't been picked up by the city. It's an eyesore, though, so I was wondering if the city can do anything to encourage the owner or renter to deal with it. Not sure if anyone is living in the house; it appeared to be under renovation last fall, and some of the trash looks like stuff left over from the work on the house. Thanks for any help you may be able to give.
Regards,
Mary
Accessibility Problem

This sidewalk is so uneven that I cannot navigate it safely with my power chair. Even if we are going to the WonderLab, we usually cross to the south side of the street for this block and then back to the north side again to continue on our way.

Dear Government,
I have been living here for about 13 years, and in this time it has become clear to me that there is a problem at the intersection between Rusgan Drive and Ramble Road West. You see this intersection has been my bus stop for years, and whether it's the dark of morning when I leave or daylight when I get back people speed right by as if there were no speed limit. This is only made worse by the fact that the intersection is half blind because it lies at the bottom of a small hill. So for the well being of myself and the children of the neighborhood I am requesting that this intersection be changed to a three way stop. I believe this would force the people of the neighborhood to drive at a more reasonable speed and therefore make my street much safer. I believe my neighbor across the street, the father of a small child, previously wrote the city requesting the same thing. I myself am just a teenager. So you know that once the problem has reached the point where a teenager takes time where they could have been doing nothing to write the city about traffic regulation, it's probably not just nothing. And considering others have written about this in the past, I frankly find it foolish to wait until someone actually gets hurt to take action.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
P.S. I apologize if this came across as somewhat hostile, I know whoever reads this is probably not at fault.
