Recycling
409 E Kirkwood AVE
- Case Date:
- 10/10/2016
Hello! I noticed that there are plenty of recycling options on Kirkwood, but almost none on the half right outside of the Sample Gates until you get to around FARM (I know because I had something to recycle and walked until I found a recycling bin). I think having a few more recycling options in this area would be helpful, especially considering all the recycling people might have coming out of places like Chipotle and the Pourhouse.
I really hope you consider doing this!

There is a road construction sign that has been laying turned over in the grass for weeks at United Commerce Bank (on 3rd Street between College & Walnut) that needs to be stood up or removed. Thank you!
Parking Permits
409 S Swain AVE
- Case Date:
- 3/31/2017
Several cars without parking permits are consistently parking in Neighborhood Zone 2 permit-only spaces.
I paid for a Zone 2 parking permit and I cannot find a parking spot on Swain Ave. (where I live) because they are almost all filled with non-permitted vehicles. I'd like to request stricter enforcement of parking laws in Zone 2.

Can we extend the left turn arrow interval for west bound Patterson onto Rogers so more than three cars can make it through the intersection while Country Club is closed?
Sidewalk Requests

We recently moved to Bloomington and chose specifically to live within walking distance to our daughter's school, we're within a mile. Unfortunately, there's no viable route to her school b/c there are no sidewalks adjacent to University Elementary on 10th street. This is a significant issue for the surrounding community. We're new so I don't have all the numbers but there are at least 10 students at University in our neighborhood alone and based it's a safe assumption that the neighboring neighborhoods have a large number of students who are not currently provided with a safe alternative. For a city with a great walkable/bikable reputation I would expect this to be a high priority for our city. This is also a common route for cyclists (recreational and competitive) and seems like it would have already been addressed. Please advise.
