Potholes, Other Street Repair

There is no safe way for a pedestrian to cross Smith Road (east to west or west to east) at Fenbrook or Brighton Crest. This is further complicated by the hilly nature of Smith Road and the fact that traffic typically travels much faster than the posted speed limit. It is unsafe for pedestrians, cyclist, and drivers. Sightlines are also very dangerous in this area.
If you are on fenbrook ln on the east side of smith Rd, turning right onto smith, there's overhanging foliage that blocks the view of oncoming traffic coming down the hill on smith to the south.
"Head start" for pedestrians. Use the NYC trick, give walkers a 7 second head start before turning the light green. This intersection, the one on the bypass and 10th, and the Kirkwood Walnut crosswalk are just 3 places drivers ignore pedestrians as they only look at cars so they can make right turns. Please. They're going to run us over. Look at Saturdays NYtimes.
The walking/bike trail opposite the Ferguson Dog Park was NOT cleared of snow and we just observed a person pushing, with great difficulty, another person in a wheelchair on this snow/slush covered walk. Shouldn’t the City clear it’s walks just as it expects homeowners to do?
The north-south light at Smith Road and East 3rd should be programed to work just like the one at Woodscrest and 3rd; that is, alternating greens for the north-south traffic. Having traffic backed upbeyond the 4-way stop at Morningside is ridiculous. The level of traffic is much higher (at times) than one sees at Woodscrest. It would seem to be a simple and reasonable solution to the nightmare tthat develops north-south at this intersection.
Needs excess debris removed from storm drain inlet.
There are several potholes on Smith Road. Just do them all. Letty Newkirk
This location has multiple dogs that are left outside at all hours of the day and into the evening where the continuously barking Others in our neighborhood adjacent have contacted animal control in the past. With the freezing temperatures the dogs are constantly barking and crying at the back door to be let inside, but are rarely if ever let back in. This cannot be good for the dogs and causes issues for others in the neighborhood intending to get work done.
