Potholes, Other Street Repair
3876 East Resents Circle
- Case Date:
- 6/11/2017
I reported a potential sinkhole in the street in front of my
property in August 2016. The hole opening into the what I
believe will become a sinkhole was immediately patched.
Now, new construction has just begun on adjacent lot 3880.
concrete trucks making deliveries to that site have now created
a ten foot long , 2 foot wide, 2 inch deep indentation in the
pavement directly above where I suspect a sinkhole. The
pavement is permanently damaged and parts have broken up. I realize that making repairs while construction is in progress is probably not practical, but I wanted to immediately make the
city aware of the damage. I don't know if this is something the builder will be expected to take of or if is the city. Regardless of whether its the city or the city makes the builder take care of it, I
would appreciate the city giving me the assurance that the damage will be repaired as soon as practical.
Thank You! Dennis Reedy

Parking Officer went out to location twice, no trailer parked on laurel ct
Regarding this parking issue. As a rep of the HOA I spoke with owner at 3873 Laurel regarding the truck and trailer parked in the street and the complaints I have received. I suggested that he park the vehicle elsewhere so as not to block the street. He indicated in was OK with the city, he pays assoc. fees, etc. I believe this is likely in violation of 15.32.060. I'm attaching two pictures including one from this afternoon.
Thank you for your attention and two visits to the area. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. (apparently I can only send one at a time.)
Sewer Problems (Storm Sewers)

A storm sewer lid has slid off the pipe that it was covering, leaving it open far enough that a dog or child could fall in. It is located adjacent to the bike path along the east side of Sare Road where the path drops down close to Jackson Creek.

As you head north on Sare Rd from Roher, there are several large potholes along the road for a mile or so all the way up to the Roger’s traffic circle. There’s a huge hole with cones around it in the middle of this, so I assume that giant hole is already on your radar.

Excessive Growth
3868 East Resents Circle
- Case Date:
- 5/22/2018
The location is a lot in St. James Woods, which has been purchased but has no home construction on it. The lot is now filling up with very tall grasses/weeds. The neighborhood concern has to do with broader weed dispersion into adjoining lots/landscaping; as well as the potential to attract unwanted wildlife (e.g., rats, skunks, possums, etc.) which can easily travel to neighboring lots.
Excessive Growth
3868 East Resents Circle
- Case Date:
- 6/4/2017
This empty lot is showing excessive growth - in some areas the vegetation has gotten to be 1-2 ft. high. This is creating a haven for creatures, insects and promoting more weed growth that directly impacts the neighbors on either side of this lot.

The lot (no home built yet) at 3868 E. Regents Circle is now becoming somewhat overgrown with weeds, plants and grasses. This is causing concerns over the wildlife it may be inviting into the neighborhood, as well as the spread of weeds into neighboring yards.
