Please visit Highland Village. The streets are so rough. There are faded stop signs. One in particular has NO red on it at all. Parksquare Dr.,go onto Sunset. The stop sign at the 1st st (Westsomething) might as well not even be there it is so faded. The cross street is NOT a stop street. Can you pave the streets,put up new stop signs and street signs?
Your location finder isn't accurate, the true address is 1435 N Kinser Pk. There is a large tree at this address that is partially dead and dying. Part of this tree hangs over onto this property, 1431 N Kinser Pk, but the majority hangs over the street. I spoke with the property owner about this tree back in mid April about him taking care of this hazard. Nothing got done and he moved. Early summer a large limb fell into the street one night obstructing traffic and about 2 weeks ago another large limb fell into our driveway, damaging our fence. As time goes by, more of this tree is dying and at some point it's going to fall into the street,blocking both lanes,taking out the power and phone lines and hopefully not injuring anyone. The mail carrier doesn't stop there anymore so I guess he had his mail forwarded.
I registered for the Homegrown Farm Tour and have realized I can no longer attend so I would like to cancel my two reservations (under my name) and get a refund. along the tree line behind my house at 3951 N, Rosewood ct and adjoining the Cascade Golf course there are tree limbs now rubbing against my house in storms. Can I cut these limbs or remove these trees?
I regret to report that the recent pothole patching has not improved the situation on Greenwood Avenue. Since we are just a one block dead end street, we have several children who play out on the street. A quick poll showed two skinned knees and one hand that were the result of three falls from the now raised areas of the road. We went from indentations to uneven bumps. Is there any chance we could be put into the mix for a future resurfacing of the street?
Hi. On Saturday, my 3-year-old child tripped and fell over a new patch in the street outside our house on Greenwood Avenue. Apparently, some of my neighbors wrote to you last week to report the bad condition of the street. On Thursday/Friday(?), several large potholes were filled in, but it seems to be fast emergengy patching. Some of the patches are now bumps instead of holes, with loose tarmac around the patch. First, I WOULD like to say thank you for acting on this so quickly. But I do have two questions: (i) Is the street scheduled for proper repair in the near future? and (ii) Is the sidepath at the end of the street, between Greenwood and Southdowns, also scheduled for improvement? My interest in this issue is not only as a resident. I am a member of the Rogers/Binford Safe Routes to School Committee, and I am concerned about upkeep for the children who use this as the main pedestrian route to school from the SoMax neighborhood. Erratic and intermittent. Sometimes it seems to work fine, other times it goes on when you walk to it or goes off, too.
