Echo Park has failed to clear the snow on the sidewalk in front of its property as of Wednesday, January 8. I notice many residents from surrounding neighborhoods rely on this sidewalk to reach the bus stop and other locations on foot.
Tree has fallen and is across the Polly Grimshaw Trail. This is just to the east of Pete Ellis Drive. Needs a crew with equipment to get in there and clear the trail. Thanks,
There is no water from any of the faucets, showers, etc.
This is my 5th time reporting about this pothole and it has been 4 months since I have reported first. This one is a very BIG HOLE and please fill this hole AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please let me know the ETA. Pothole Location: IN-FRONT OF 2776 E CREEKS EDGE DR, BLOOMINGTON, IN 47401.
Lighting for Cedar Creek Assisted Living sign is BLINDING at night. I have almost hit a bicyclist, a dog, and a deer turning onto Adams from Tapp Road at the roundabout because the sign lighting sits below the level of the sign. If it was raised up on both sides by 4-6 inches it would hit the sign- which is what it should do, not blind drivers or walkers entering the neighborhood.
Initially reported on 10/28. Amazed that a crew worked on the issue the very same day. Disappointed however that they did not finish the job. There are numerous large potholes in the southbound lane that force drivers to move into the northbound lane just before a blind curve.
Is it possible to have a crosswalk painted on 3rd at Rose? Today I saw a blind person trying to make the crossing. Per the email below, a few years ago, it seemed this was a possibility. Yes. There will be marked crosswalks on 3rd at Rose. On Tue, Oct 22, 2013 at 10:51 AM, Schertz, Hannah H. <hschertz@indiana.edu> wrote: Thanks for the response. I have noticed the bike stripes. My concern is crossing 3rd at Rose as a pedestrian. Is there any chance of a crosswalk there? At this point, the likelihood of a sidewalk on Rose Avenue is very low. You probably have noticed changes on 3rd Street as a result of the City's Greenways Implementation Plan, however. Rose Avenue in the segment you describe is designated as a neighborhood greenway as well. So you will see some additional signage and striping at the 3rd & Rose intersection if you haven't already. Thank you again for your uReport request. Thanks, Adrian
Light allowing northbound 37 traffic to turn left is not working
Since the traffic light on 2nd (Bloomfield) and Oakdale Square has been changed it has been creating quite the backup for cars attempting to turn onto Bloomfield. It appears that the lights are now timed to 37, which means that cars driving on Bloomfield speed through the Oakdale square light going much faster than 40. Further, it is now common to see more than 7 cars waiting to turn left onto Bloomfield from Oakdale drive. This creates a backup for those turning left and turning right. The old timing pattern worked sufficiently in that it slowed down the traffic on Bloomfield which regularly goes faster than 40, and it was easier to get on the road from Oakdale. Please consider untying that light to the 37 intersection.
