When we get a quick rain the shower downstairs backs up. I was concerned that it was an issue in my pipes but have had the drain snaked. Also I can turn on the shower and let it run for a while. It only happens when it rains and seems that it is getting worse. It's pretty nasty to clean up every time it rains. Is there anything the city can help me with on this issue?

404 W Kirkwood Ave, in back of house where parking is - trash all over and growing since last week. This co-op has had issues before with grass growing long, furniture on roof top etc. Now there is trash, broken furniture, plastic and clothing and trash strewn around the back side of the residence. It is an eyesore.

The alley that runs between 800 North Grant Street and 415 East 11th Street (connecting East 11th and East 12th streets) is full of potholes and bumps, especially as it gets closer to 11th St. Many of us who live in these buildings have to drive through this alley every day in order to access the parking for our buildings. I know that the condition of this alley has been damaging to the suspension of my car, and I am sure I am not alone in this. I'm sure I speak for many when I say that we would greatly appreciate it if this alleyway were to be re-paved, or at least have some of the deeper potholes and bumps filled in and smoothed out. The tenants of this rental have left boxes, misc trash cans and broken furniture right out by the street through 2 trash pickup weeks now. They also leave their recycle and trash carts right out by the street all the time. I also wonder how many people live in this house. There are always 4 or 5 cars in the drive way and in front of this house.

After all the utilities repair that's been going on in our neighborhood, our streets were completely ripped up. The city has since started patching the roads, but they've done a pretty slapdash job of it. The new paving is very uneven and there are gaps and places where it's easy to lose your footing. I've already tripped at least once in the last few days when I've been out walking my dog. I'm a young, able-bodied person so I'm sure you can see how it could pose a risk to the other residents in the neighborhood who might be older or less steady on their feet. I hope this patching effort is a temporary fix and not the final product, because that would be unacceptable. I would love to hear back about this issue and whether or not this is a temporary fix. I hope the roads in our neighborhood can be completely repaved when this water utilities project is fully completed.

Please send street cleaner to Waterman addition. Adams, Fountain, and 8th Streets have refuse, dirt, and weeds, that need a scrubbing by curbs and drains. Accident debris by RR track needs professional help.
