I use this route to take my children to school every single day of the week. I have noticed that if a vehicle is turning left from either direction off of E 10th Street they usually have to wait for oncoming traffic that is going straight through the light. This backup undoubtedly causes panic and frustration in drivers trying to make it to work or school in time because the line can be quite long. The solution for most drivers that I've noticed is to go straight through the light utilizing the Right Only turn lane. It doesn't take a genius to realize what can happen when someone unexpectedly blows through an intersection. The other issue is if the car turns left then you have 2 cars simultaneously going straight through an area that is meant to be one car. Today alone I watched 4 cars use the right lane one after another and almost cause a multi-car crash. This is especially dangerous because this area has a high volume of pedestrians feet away who are trying to make it to classes at IU. I have personally witnessed and almost been part of more accidents going in both directions at this intersection than anywhere in my entire life. I would like to offer some solutions rather than just complain. 1. Have a designated left turn lane instead of a right turn that people will inevitably blow through. 2. Add a left turn signal so one car don't hold up all of the traffic on that entire road causing people to get upset. 3. If you don't want to do either of those then at least install a sign that states the right turn lane is ONLY for right turns because people obviously don't understand what an arrow on the ground means. 4. Post a police officer here for about a week and I bet you'll see some changes. He is going to be busy though with all of the traffic violations witnessed. I would generally not even give this a second thought, but I travel this road everyday with my children to and from school. It is actually mind blowing how many close call accidents I have witnessed at this exact spot. Please look into this matter for the safety and well-being of your community. Every time it snows, the sidewalks by the sorority on the west side of woodlawn never get cleared, and they're an awful mess, prompting people to walk in the street.

I’m not sure if this should be addressed to the city or county. There is no consistent sidewalk from Constitution Way to HWY 45/ 2 nd St along Curry Pike for anyone walking to and from Walmart. This would be very helpful for people living on this section of Curry Pike especially people who are in wheel chairs to be able to safely go to Walmart, Big Red Liquor or the Circle K Convenience store at that intersection. I hope the city or county will consider filling in the gaps along this stretch where there is no sidewalk. Please let me know if this is something the city will consider. Thank you

The yellow flashing lights used to safely cross 4th st at S Rogers has no it been working for about 3 weeks

Students going to TNMS often try to cross here instead of walking to the roundabout where the crosswalks are. Can a crosswalk be placed here?What about the school zone signs with flashing lights that positioned by other schools? Tri-North's school zone signs are still located on 11th street/Blair Ave where the old building was.
