Hi, Regarding the July 3 downtown fireworks display, https://bloomington.in.gov/bicentennial links to https://bloomington.in.gov/sites/default/files/2018-06/Fireworks%202018%20FAQ%20Document%20v5%20-%20FINAL.pdf which, among other things, states, "What is the perimeter around the launch site? The City has worked hard on safety for the event. There will be a perimeter around the fireworks display area. Please see attached map. Viewers will not be able to watch the fireworks inside that area." There is no "attached map" that I could find and no instructions/advisory as to where folks might set up lawn chairs and view the show. Given that there may be a large crowd, where are we advised to gather to watch? BTW, the "Calendar" the city site links to (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=bloomington.in.gov_4m4ito5pefg3ts9pb9uudhda6o@group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/New_York) has no entry for July 3. Finally, the "flyer" at https://www.visitbloomington.com/event/b-town-boom!-fireworks-over-downtown/38107/ states, "Cook Group and CFC Properties, in partnership with the City of Bloomington, are excited to bring fireworks back to downtown Bloomington for the first time in years. B-town Boom fireworks are an opportunity to celebrate the Bicentennial of the City of Bloomington and Monroe County while kicking off Bloomington's Fourth of July festivities. More info to come." Again, no information about where viewers should or can gather. Can you please advise?

Inaccessible Parking

101 South Monon Drive

Case Date:
6/26/2018

I am writing to ask when I will ever be able to park my car near my house again. I live at 1416 S Monon Dr and all street parking has been outlawed pending road work that seems to have moved North onto Walnut St. A flyer was circulated at the beginning of May stating that the work would conclude before June. It has now been two months that no one on my street has been able to park at their home. Unloading groceries, entertaining guests, and transporting garden items have all been difficult or impossible because of the parking embargo. I have a motorcycle in storage that I can't take out because there is nowhere I can safely park it near my residence. Is there an end in sight? Should I just leave the motorcycle in until next summer? Obviously if the tentative end date is as illusory as the June deadline just don't tell me because that will be more infuriating than just hoping to wake up one day on a street not ravaged by smashers and cement trucks.

Yard Waste

505 E Allen ST

Case Date:
6/27/2018

The city blocked some section of the road off (presumably to slow traffic). Now there is just yard waste and old hay bails left in them. It looks trashy.

Blocked Street

910 S Manor RD

Case Date:
6/27/2018

A residential Parking Sign is improperly inserted into the ground causing it to be slanted at a 30 degree angle. This is almost blocking my driveway and causing the roof of my car to scratch it. Can you please re-dig this sign in the ground so that it's' straight? The sign itself is not damaged, it's just not properly inserted into the ground. Thanks. Kent Rerko 910 S. Manor Rd. Excessive Growth

Case Date:
6/28/2018

West Pointe subdivision (enter from Allen/Larkspur or Adams/Woodhill) -- MANY houses that are rentals or vacant have excessive growth. Need to drive through entire neighborhood to see the many that need to be addressed. Some sidewalks are covered in weeds. Also, several homes have excessive mold on the exterior, one house has the garage door removed and sitting inside garage (been this way for months). Tree limbs that need trimmed; hazard when walking (need to look through neighborhood for several homes with this issue).
