Hello, I am wondering if City can install "Hidden Drive" sign on E 10th street in front of my house, 3950 E 10th street, Bloomington IN 47408. Especially, westbound on 10th would be ideal with caution sign because drivers are really fast and it is dangerous to pull car in and out from my house. If there is a sign, I hope drivers will be caution. Thank you.
This is an unacceptable reply and will be discussed at the next City Council open meeting. Noticed vehicle parked in front of my car which had the last metered spot around 10-11 am after I arrived for work and it was still there when I left after 4, it was also very close to mine which left very little room to get out as well.
Hi - I received a troubling bill from CBU back in January, and despite a few phone messages and emails to utilities.ar@bloomington.in.gov, I never received a response. In the mean-time, CBU apparently discovered an error in billing as my water usage went from an average of 4-5 in 2017 to 15 in January 2018, 8 in February 2018, and back to 4 in April - June. Alas, my most recent bill shows another spike to 7, despite no change in our home usage. Is there perhaps something going awry in our meter reading? I would appreciated an explanation for these sometimes wild fluctuations... Please have a look at my bill, CBU account 845-003 and provide some clarity. Response via email works best for me. The alley that runs between 800 North Grant Street and 415 East 11th Street (connecting East 11th and East 12th streets) is full of potholes and bumps, especially as it gets closer to 11th St. Many of us who live in these buildings have to drive through this alley every day in order to access the parking for our buildings. I know that the condition of this alley has been damaging to the suspension of my car, and I am sure I am not alone in this. I'm sure I speak for many when I say that we would greatly appreciate it if this alleyway were to be re-paved, or at least have some of the deeper potholes and bumps filled in and smoothed out.
