Yesterday I came home to find one of my trees had been cut down by the city. It is a tree I purchased and planted 10 years ago. With no prior notice, or any explanation, it was cut down yesterday. I complained on this forum last night, ticket #165085 and it was assigned to Charles Brandt. I checked status this morning and the ticket seems to have disappeared. I can find no record of it. I also did not receive a response of any kind. The tree was bought by me and no reimbursement has been offered for the city destroying my property. The original complaint was submitted properly, and assigned, and removed from the system without a response from the city. I demand an explanation and I will not be going away until this issue is resolved.

City response to it's voting citizens, who the city works for, needs to be addressed. What happened to my original complaint?

Hi, I'd like to report a sewer problem. There is a steady stream of water flowing out of a manhole. It leaks across the sidewalk and then onto Rogers where it flows into the storm sewer drain. It's on the northeast corner at the intersection of South Rogers and Coolidge. I just wanted to alert the utilities department about the issue. Thanks.

Request pickup of tree limbs from storm

We had a rather large limb (up to 5" diameter at base) drop in our yard from a neighbors tree and would like it, and sever smaller branches/trees damaged in the storm picked up from the curbside. Much of the debris was put in yard waste bags, but the larger branch parts not. How short should I cut them (I have a ~3" chain saw, so the larger branches are problematic. How do we arrange the day for pick up, or should I just move all to the curb by Monday and leave it until it is picked up?

A lot of big branches were blown down. They are on our side yard for now. We will put them at the curb this coming weekend.
