November of 2013 my truck died and I decided to try to go all of 2014 without a vehicle. So far so good. I hike and bike the B-line a LOT at all times of day/night. I have recently noticed more of a police presence there, I'm guessing in response to the recent crime spree there. I've also noticed police talking with parks workers there and stickers (on the parks worker's vehicles) alerting us that the park workers can alert police (and I imagine EMS) if needed. Today I saw a city worker bush hogging a bunch of tall weeds that a criminal could hide out in waiting to pounce. I say all that to say a BIG THANK YOU! That B-line is too nice to let it be ruined by a handful of thugs. Thanks again to all of you....and 'book em Dano.'

Hello there, My name is Yuzhen, and I live in Kensington park. We have been enjoying the Schmalz Farm Park in the neighborhood. My son loved to play in the playground in the park. He is a big kid now, and he likes sport more. So do his friends in the neighborhood! It seems to me that most of the parks in Bloomington have some kind of sports facility (neat!). I wonder if the city has any plan for building sports facility in the Schmalz Farm Park (a basketball court would be lovely, but any kind of sports facility will be great:)). There is one large tree limb down that is blocking the bike path between Rogers and Madison.

The pavement on Park, just south of the intersection with Wilson, is crumbling. There are several areas with no pavement at all, just gravel.

The public alley North of 517 S. Lincoln running East to West has several LARGE potholes and is washing away. I almost busted a tire there today. This is a very dangerous situation, Please take a look at it as soon as possible. Thank you.
