The chair swings on the south side of the Switchyard Park playground are so squeaky you really can’t enjoy them or have a conversation

The 3 large swings for parents to sit on at the South end of the Switchyard playground. Please fix them so they don't squeak or moan when someone is swinging. I live in the mobile home park just west of the playground, and I love hearing the sounds of the park. Except for those darn swings moaning and squealing! Can you please engineer something to stop them from making noise? Thank you!
Climbing rope “rocket” has a broken connection. Safety concern for kids on the equipment.
Two cans of wasp POISON and what looks like a big spill of it left in the small dog park. Picture taken Saturday 8/2/2025 in the evening.
On August 29, 2025 at approximately 6:30 PM, a City of Bloomington employee wearing a grey shirt labeled SECURITY was seen at Switchyard Park (under a shelter near benches, Northeast corner near the playground) using his cane to abuse a homeless person's dog with no prior exchange between the dog or owner and that employee witnessed. I was told by a bystander that the employee approached to hit the dog due to "complaints of the dog biting children," however, there were no children present near the dog at the time, and complaints like that should be handled by Animal Control. During this incident, I was informed that there are security cameras present in the area. I ask that if this is the case, footage is reviewed and the employee is educated on handling animal complaints in an appropriate and non-abusive manner.
Residential style street light is out in the round-about. There are only two, and this intersection is extremely dark even when they're both burning.
Potholes & crumbling pavement all along S Dorchester Dr. The edges of this road are in especially bad condition.
Dumpsters continue to overflow every week and sits there until there’s a complaint. There are more than 30 rentals using this 1 dumpster includes townhouses and apartments on both sides of Dorchester Drive and might not be sufficient. Also it’s very hard to access at all due to the doors and concrete pad, might need some attention. Thank you.
City maintained sidewalk path leading from Allendale to Rogers Family Park is not shoveled. This is is the primary route for families who live in Sherwood Oaks to get to and from Childs School.
An excessive amount of trash - glass bottles, plastic, other - was spotted by Utilities employees in stormwater conveyances (suraface as well as culverts) in areas along N. Dunn St. between 17th St. and The Bypass. Broken glass was prevalent (see attached photos). Much was along the western side of the road near apartments. While following up on reporting the situation, it was suggested that a uReport case be filed for HAND to inspect through channels related to rentals. Thoughts? Thanks!
