Ten days ago someone discarded two couches in the 300 block of S. Dunn St. on property maintained by the City of Bloomington. This is right by the off ramp from Atwater to S. Dunn St. I have seen a worker with a yellow, reflective Street Department vest mowing this property so I don't know who should take care of the disposal of the couches and cushions scattered across the lawn. My address is 416.5 North Lincoln Street and because the house is in the middle of the block I have been taking my trash cans to the 9th street driveway for the past year for pickup. My regular pickup day is Monday but because of the holiday it should have happened yesterday and it did not. My cans are still out on the street because I have been wondering if there is a delay due to the holiday. I do not want to be charged extra for a pickup specifically related to my house but I don't want this trash sitting in the sun for the next week and I don't understand why it was not collected yesterday.

Dumped shopping cart or a constant problem in Highland Village. How can this be stopped?

The trash for the Killion Apartment building (Woodington Management) has not been picked up in weeks. The company switched over the the City's trash service maybe a month ago and the trash and recycling are overflowing. Trash is all over my yard because of where the management company has placed the trash cans and I would just like to someone to be aware of this problem. My house is also managed by Woodington but I pay for my own utilities and garbage pick up so their garbage not being picked up has become a huge inconvenience.
