Piles of old advertising signs in the trees by the utilities boxes
There is an excessive amount of trash in a backyard along the B-Line trail; it looks like it one of the houses on Kendall Drive has been dumping here. Trash is visible by taking the more westward of the 2 branches of the B-Line at country club (the new one) and heading north. It's pretty close to Country Club. Within a hundred yards or so.
There are no stop signs or speed bumps for a long section on Maxwell Lane between High Street and Jordan Avenue. The speed limit is 25. People are regularly driving 50. From Jordan heading east toward Sheridan there is a hill. Traffic turning or crossing at Mitchell aren’t able to see over the hill. If people drove the posted speed limit, it would not be an issue. There is regular honking as people speeding east on Maxwell crest the hill to find cars turning onto Maxwell from Mitchell or the residences. There are also many elementary students in the very near area, and a bus stop on Maxwell at Sheridan. A stop sign at Mitchell or Sheridan on Maxwell would drastically improve the safety of the area.
The street light at the corner of Claybridge Drive in Sandburg Court turns on and off in 45 second intervals.
There is a huge pothole on Woodlawn (northbound) at the stop sign between E 2nd St and E Hunter Ave. There are also smaller potholes along Woodlawn Ave (northbound) near this area.
The street on E Cedarwood Circle between E Cedarwood Dr and Claybridge Dr need to be repaved. The road is worn below the curb and causes a large drop when backing out of driveways and makes mailboxes difficult to access.
I live at 3119 East Kensington Park Drive and the street light in front of my house is never consistently on (in past two years). It goes on and off (mostly is off) throughout the night. At the other end of the island in from of my house, the street lamp there never is on (in past two years). It really is quite dark and unsafe without any street lights on my street portion (finally getting around to asking about this). Please see if these can be fixed to work consistently. Thanks!
Light works sometimes and most nights lately it doesn't.
This house has basically been abandoned. No one lives in or cared for it in over a year. The screens and deck are falling off. The house and yard are in disrepair. The owners left their trash bins lying in the driveway along with a covered car, and tarp covered boxes/furniture, and other junk. According to GIS taxes haven’t been paid at all last year. Can’t anything be done? We have another abandoned house on Browning Lane but it at least has an owner in the area!
