Lime scooter driven through yard to destroy new grass seeding. 4021 E Morningside Drive. Parked in front yard of residential home inappropriately. This location needs to NOT be a scooter stop. There is no pavement available without obstructing sidewalk to park. Remove the scooter and no longer allow parking in this yard immediately.
Grass is an inappropriate parking location for scooters. Particularly grass, including newly seeded, in front residential yards. After reported concern recently, a Lime rep. came by and said 4021 E. Morningside was not a drop-off or parking location. Twice within the last week of that Lime rep. visit (including this morning) there has been another parked scooter where I am trying to grow grass first thing in the morning. Whether a drop-off by Lime or a Lime user early in the morning parking on my corner, Lime needs to see to it that this stops. If Lime cannot control the parking, the City should or zones be established for Lime riders to park that the app directs riders to. Thank you. I am not opposed to scooters, in fact I appreciate the option, but I am opposed to them damaging my yard without recourse and others similarly situated would feel likewise. A sidewalk is available in front of my home but no extra pavement so the scooter cannot be parked without blocking the sidewalk accessibility for those who need it. This location does not work for scooter parking purposes. Lime, please do better.
Two Lime scooters, one laying on the ground, currently blocking the sidewalk near 2219 E. 7th St. on 10/28 around 9pm.

This morning around 8:30 the SW corner of Maxwell Lane and Woodlawn. Four scooters were set up out of the way. The other two blocked the sidewalk. I moved those two in between the other four. I did---so could a "juicer." Thanks.
Hello, I would like to draw your attention to an issue with item 6 of the e-scooter guidelines on the city website; "6. Park the scooter in a bike rack or in another lawful spot on public property that does not block the right-of-way, limit access for individuals with disabilities, risk damaging private or public property, or jeopardize public safety." E-scooters should not be parked “in a bike rack” as they do not require locking and have their own kick-stand support. When e-scooters are parked inside of bike racks they are blocking access to a vital space for cyclists. Parking e-scooters in bike racks causes the same inconvenience to cyclists as parking e-scooters in the middle of a sidewalk causes to pedestrians. Failing to notice this basic issue feels like the city of Bloomington has forgotten or decided to ignore the needs of cyclists. I ask that the wording in the e-scooter guidelines be changed to ensure that bike racks are reserved for bikes and other vehicles that require locking, and proper notice be given to e-scooter users about this change. These Birds and Limes left plenty of sidewalk for pedestrians but the Limes would block someone from being able to get out of the rear seat of that car on to the sidewalk.

Sunday around 1 PM 3 girls on scooters turned from Dunn Street sidewalk on to Kirkwood sidewalk. Ignored being told not to ride on sidewalk. Of course. Please hurry up with those signs and patrolling. Also please---I assume we are supposed to use the map to locate the event for you, but how?
