The trail is totally covered from side to side by a slurry of mud and gravel. This is the Clear Creek Trail. I would give the location as on the Clear Creek Trail between Rockport and That Road, about where Fullerton / Gordon Pike would hit the Clear Creek Trail if it connected through. There is a gravel path that goes from the trail back up the hill towards the east, as a reference point. It is half a mile from Rockport Road on the trail towards That Road.

Good morning, last evening I went for a walk in Olcott Park and admired the several "prairie" gardens along the walk-ways with mowed paths among them. Today I'm writing to ask this email be forwarded to the landscaper who grew and maintains those gardens. I want to add a smaller version to my own yard and have some questions about who to proceed and wonder whether they might share their knowledge on the topic. Does anybody know if there are plans to improve the "Bloomington Rail Trail", the segment between country club and that road? This year it's suddenly much worse than it has been...there are places that were washed out that got replaced with the wrong type of gravel (shoulda used some sort of "crusher run", imo) and there's even a big wash out that didn't get any repair at all.

The Switchyard Park skate park is finished, but there's still construction around it. This is the obvious reason it's still closed, but there is a plethora of kids that skate it every day and regularly get kicked out. This doesn't seem sustainable, and I would expect that it's only going to create ruthlessness and ignorance of the law in some of the kids. Right now, it's schedule to be closed off all summer and fall until the rest of the park is scheduled to be finished in November. This seems unreasonable. It would take comparatively little effort to finish a small path from the park to the B-line and move the construction fence line to the other edges of the park.
