Tree fell over in storm blocking the sidewalk at 1106 E. Benson Ct.
Some time ago, the street was patched by the curb of my next door neighbor. During this last storm the patch was raised up and broke into pieces. The larger pieces remained in that location but the rest of the patch and gravel washed down the street on it’s way to drain but ended up in front of my drive. The city was repairing the patch today and I asked if they could get the patch that was in front of my house and they said I would have to contact the city. I always remove debris that blocks drain but I never know what to do with all the gravel. If I know the sweeper is coming or I see them in the neighborhood I try to brush it into piles but the sweepers don’t generally get it all. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Large pothole always filled with water on Hunter Ave between Jordan and Swain. This block needs to be repaved because of numerous repairs and downhill water erosion
A large hole is developing on the street in front of my home at 2301 S Sussex Dr. See photo. I am afraid my tires will be damaged if it isn‘t repaired soon. Thanks.
Potholes at 39 degrees 7 minutes, 32.7 seconds North; 86 degrees, 30 minutes, 58.4 seconds West. Also a couple of smaller ones toward the west.
Huge big tree branch fell off, and blocked the sidewalk.
Tree blocking sidewalk at 1106 E Benson Ct
last time when it was repaired the asphalt was packed directly on top of the old surface so it easily breaks away. There is also some settlement in this segment of the road. Please remove the cracked asphalt and pack new one down to the gravel. Thanks a lot.
After the storm went through on Sunday 6/23, we noticed runners and walkers were having trouble getting through on the sidewalk behind our house along Rogers Rd. Upon investigation, we found that a tree/bush next to the road had broken in the storm and was blocking the sidewalk. We cleared the debris from the sidewalk and moved it into the grassy area in between the sidewalk and the road. I would like to see the debris removed and that bush/tree trimmed. Please warn whomever works there that there may be poison ivy (I seem to have gotten it, likely from that.)
