Route 5 reduced hours ending at 7pm causes multiple problems for music students and their fans and all who want to reduce downtown traffic at night. Bad move to reduce hours. More condos and apartments on this route produce more bus traffic recently. Hours should be increased not decreased. G
Do private student housing shuttles get all the privileges get all the privileges of City buses? They definitely shouldn't but obstruct traffic constantly that a car wouldn't be allowed to do. City transit rightly should get priority and is open to all but police need to stop private shuttle abuse.
I would like to know how to get a complaint against the Bloomington Transit center resolved. I have complained in person and left voicemails to customer service (they never answer the phone). The treatment I have received from one of their employees is wrong and inexcusable. I also have been treated very unfairly in regards to submitting these complaints. I am unsure of how else to proceed to receive resolve of this issue.
One of your buses has the external announcement volume level set WAY TOO LOUD. Unfortunately, I didn't get the bus number, but it was the #6 bus traveling westbound on E. 10th St. approaching Jordan Ave. at approx. 12:20 PM today. I was walking on the sidewalk, and the announcement blared out at an ear-shattering level. I'm used to hearing the bus announcements walking on streets downtown and around campus, but this was something entirely different as far as volume. My right ear is still in pain as a result. Please check the volume setting.
Route 2 bus stop sign at stop along W. 11th St on west bound lane side - sign is obscured by overgrowth in City easement/right-of-way.
The bus stop sign along S. Sare Road at E. Buttonwood Lane has apparently been hit by a car at some point in the past and it’s leaning slightly back. Can it be pulled upright or replaced? I tried pulling on it myself, but couldn’t get it straight up. Thanks for your help!
Workers took away bus stop sign.
The bus stop sign post (bus 3) on South Curry Pike and West Heritage Way is leaning into the street (South Curry Pike).
This bus stop might be the worst one in the City! Building a landing pad east of it (beyond the sign) would be a great idea.
