The same tree root issue is happening on the opposite side of our driveway as well. The roots from the tree are causing the sidewalk to raise becoming a trip and fall hazard. Additionally, the branches hang over the street directly above any vehicle that would park there in front of our house. This concerns the traffic jam every week day on Countryside Drive at Summit Elementary School as parents are picking up their children. Cars are parked (poorly) on both sides of the street, leaving barely a single lane for through traffic. Kids are running along the sidewalk and across the street to get to their parent's cars, creating a dangerous situation. For those of us on Sunflower Drive, this is our only route in or out of our neighborhood, and it has become very hazardous and difficult. We would be very grateful if something could be done about it. Thank you.
A tree at the corner of Thatcher Court and Winston Street in Hyde Park has lots of dead branches that have been falling in recent thunderstorms into the traffic lane and on the sidewalk. It needs to be trimmed or removed for safety.

The home at 700 S. Highland (Southwest corner of E. University and S. Highland) has extensive overgrowth of weeds and tree branches into the sidewalk on S. Highland. The sidewalk has become impassable in some spots and damaged in others. Probably worth a visit by the city, and a citation.
The sidewalk on the west side of College Mall Rd just north of Moores Pike there is a tree that has branches hanging to about 4-5 feet over the ground, making it so that both pedestrians and cyclists have to duck to get below it. I believe the tree is the responsibility of Gentry Quarters, but I am unable to find contact information for the company to ask them to address it. I'm hoping the city can. Thank you.
Repaired sidewalk cracked again due to heavy city trucks traffic on easement. My driveway also cracked and broken in same area.
