Does anybody know if there are plans to improve the "Bloomington Rail Trail", the segment between country club and that road? This year it's suddenly much worse than it has been...there are places that were washed out that got replaced with the wrong type of gravel (shoulda used some sort of "crusher run", imo) and there's even a big wash out that didn't get any repair at all.
Washout worse then it looks from photo
The trail to Park Ridge Park is over grown to the point where bikes and peds can not pass each other without using the grass verge. Dangerous especially at evening
There are low hanging branches on the trail through the middle of Bryan Park. There's an especially low one just east of the wooden bridge, but there are others that require ducking. There is also vegetation coming in from the creek side that should be pruned back.
This the foot bridge over the stream at the North end of the clear creek trail. This is on the east end of the bridge. The piece of metal my kid is pointing at should be over the big crack at her feet.
This is a follow-up to case #164460, which was marked as "resolved", but has not been resolved. This is part of a group of trees decimated by Indiana Railroad that is currently hanging across the trail in Butler Park. The lights mentioned in case #164460 have not been repaired and all of the fallen trees both in the actual park area and in the adjoining Indiana Railroad property have not been touched.
The nature trail at Winslow Park now has many more paths than indicated by your online map, so many that Parks and Rec needs to mark the main trails to distinguish them from many, many spurs.
Not so much an issue as a request. Would it be possible to repaint the mile and quarter mile markers on the Clear Creek Trail? Most have faded away and when running in between distances or utilizing the trail for a bit of a speed work (since I don't know if residents have access to any of the public school tracks) it's nice to know those quarter mile marks.
