A broken scooter (handle bars have been removed) has been lying at the corner of Wylie and Lincoln for weeks and is blocking the sidewalk. I reported this one before, but nothing has been done.
Tents are popping up again in Seminary Park and the adjacent open spaces. I cannot believe these are for "Garage sales, religious tent meetings, nonprofit events and political rallies" (City Code), so I hope they will soon be removed.
This has been the view from my office the past two days. Scooters scattered everywhere inhibiting pedestrians and a complete eyesore to Btown.
Was harassed in Kroger parking lot by people from seminary park. Asked for money, when I said no they aggressively tried to follow me. I had to run to my car to leave. Very unsafe area for Bloomington residents.
Yet another eyesore in Bloomington. This is in my parking space in the ONB lot behind the old Pour House cafe. please have it removed. In fact, please all of them removed. I will continue to send these reports as often as possible.
still not resolved from yesterday. May I recycle it?
I tried to call but no one answered but i just wanted to urge y'all to vote no against the ban for tents. It's already getting cold out winter time is an inhuman and fucked up time to even propose this. That's all thanks
the vote to remove the homeless camp at Seminary park was, by any moral opinion, disgusting, reprehensible, and downright evil. how dare you sit in your offices and make the decision to leave hundreds of people without any form of shelter, on the streets, at the beginning of winter. i understand an alternative was given night of, but those people are in the position they’re in because the government has proven time and time again that it will fail them when they need the help. you have proven this point to them once again. they had no reason to accept your handout, shame on all of you.
The amount of continuous noise being produced from somewhere in this location on S. Walnut Street is ridiculous. All day, the sound of construction equipment driving around and dumping stuff and pounding things. This has gone on for a long time now. Can this not be stopped? In a pandemic with work from home, some people don't have an option to go elsewhere. It seems like it is a training course for heavy machinery operators or a place where really slow construction crews go to work.
