Greetings: I am the Director of the Farmer House Museum and I would like to address the safety concern in our ally that connect between Morton and College at 10th Street. I have a detailed video taken by our board member that shows the area of concern and safety. We have applied for an AARP grant to secure funding to repair and update the parking pad and the alley inbetween the Woodburn House and the Farmer House museum. At the Farmer House Museum we cannot repair the edges of our parking pad without the evaluation from the City of Bloomington. Thank you for your time and consideration. There is a bus stop at south clarizz blvd and woods at Latimer, however there is no street light near the bus stop. It is very unsafe and difficult to access the bus stop after 9 pm or after 5 pm in the winters. And since it’s a busy street it is often dangerous to cross the road to get to the apartments nearby. The turn for E stratum way and s clarizz blvd also needs a street light! As a woman I feel quite unsafe trying to get to my apartment later in the evenings

Our street light is not functioning fully. It is off more than it is on. Also, we need another street light at the opening of the court at azalea. It is very dark even when the light is on deep into the court. Thank you.

On Madison, between the Maple Heights bridge and 16th St, there are no street lights. This makes it unsafe for bikers and pedestrians at night. Please put in a few street lights on this stretch of road.

The corner of E. David Drive and E. Tapps Turn is a school bus stop. There is no street light there and it’s very dark especially for neighborhood children waiting for their bus during early morning hours. For the safety of children and drivers who come into our neighborhood via David Drive, we need to have a street light installed.
