I submitted Case #180206 on June 5, but Jo Strong mistakenly closed it on June 9, saying "no sidewalk at this location. I gave the location of the owner of the sidewalk, but the sidewalk is on the south side of their property, while their driveway is on the north side. The overgrown sidewalk is on Fields Drive. Jo Strong also said, "Is address correct?", but there was no way for me to respond. Please reopen this case. I attached a photo (although it isn't showing or acknowledged), but the situation has grown worse since I took this photo.

The vegetation along Smith Ave from Euclid to Walker is out of control AGAIN. It overgrows into both sides of Smith so cars get scratched. If you want to turn onto Smith from Buckner you CANNOT see East on Smith to know if a car is coming West on Smith. Going East and West on Smith, the same problem occurs both directions on Davisson. This is a chronic problem every year. I believe Smith is platted as 16 feet wide, but there is definitely not that much clearance. I also believe there is city law that says vegetation should be cut back 3 feet from the street edges. If owners would cut their vegetation back one foot from the paved edge of Smith it would be a lot better. I'd appreciate contact from you after you look into this. Thank You!! AT&T cut the sidewalk on the corner of Heather and Laurel. I believe the underground work has been completed but no sign of repair. Many older people and some disabled walk there. This is causing a danger.

East-West alley between Girls and Boys Club and the building to the north needs repaved. It is in really bad shape and dangerous.It was never repaired after work was done in it. Thank you.

One of the new street trees planted by the city after the completion of the new north extension of the Jackson Creek Trail last fall has unfortunately died, and should be replaced. It is sending up suckers at the base, but I don’t think a large shrubby plant is what was intended. Tree is near the property line of the house on High and the house on the corner facing Wimbleton. Thank you!
