Line of Sight

100 W 2nd St, Bloomington, IN 47403, USA

Case Date:
6/7/2023

They’ve been told Not to camp. 20/30 tarp by 2 trees, looks like it's an apartment with all their tarps. Witnesses defecate, Shoot up (drugs) Just wants his city back. Mayor’s office and Prosecutor to leave them alone. If I get caught with a syringe Very upset. Tired of seeing them. Embarrassing. It’s frustrating Once a week I will start calling. I will not suggest anyone come to our city. They’re not homeless. Drug addicts. They dance in the middle of the street. Does want something else to happen. Use property and let it go. The needle exchange climb rate started climbing.

Street & Traffic Signs

Case Date:
5/19/2021

Hello, The street sign at the corner of Montclair and Queens Way is tilted and twisted. Large Moving Vans and Tractor Trailers are the likely suspects. This occurs several times each year. Is there a flexible version of the sign post ? Thanks Monty Marsh 812-339-3558

City Performance

Case Date:

Rollerbladed Clear Creek today, the new portion the County must have opened in the last 1.5 years or so? Was awesome. It is unfortunate how little attention the City pays to skating accessibility. Smooth surfaces are key. Bike and pedestrian commission doesn't even mention skating. Can a skate-specific person be appointed please? Skaters take up less space in the same area compared to bicycles and can easily be thrown in a bag or office. It'd be nice to see more skating commute options. It's not all about boards destroying curbs or whatever people think. I'm certainly no teenager or 20-year-old anymore. Particularly there needs to be an east-west trail in town that goes from far east like the lazer tag place and Summerhouse all the way to campus, and then over to the B-line.

Strong marijuana smell and several people drinking alcohol under bridge at grimes and Morton. Also excessive trash and illegal “camping”/“residence” as I’m sure you are aware by the 100’s of calls/post/complaints! Please pass this to personale responsibile so something can be done!

I just received this response from Closed by Melissa Hirtzel The City was not aware of the exercise nor the events that were going to take place. Please call BPD at 812-339-4477. Interesting...as the Office of the Mayor reported on their FB page that the Office of Mayor WAS aware of Monday night's national security exercise and was notified ahead of time. Get your stories straight!!

The pedestrian crossing signal on the Southwest corner of West 3rd Street as it crosses I-69 Southbound has obviously been hit by a vehicle. The whole thing is on the ground, including the post.

Has the mayor issued a Pride/LGBT proclamation for the month? I would assume so. Can you post the link where that can be found? For a town that touts diversity every chance it gets year after year I'm sad how little celebration I see of our queer demographic and the diversity within. Thank you for your support.

Quite a few people seem to be living under the bridge in tents, spilling out onto the adjacent sidewalk and blocking it. There are also tents behind the closed car wash near the downtown post office. I hope we find better homes for these individuals.
