I realize the city does not care or maintain E Canada Drive, however it is unsafe to have vehicles parked so close to the stop sign at this intersection. There are no marking on the road or curd to tell drivers they cannot park there, so they park there daily. Something needs to be done to prevent any accidents at this intersection for drivers who are unable to see around parked vehicles.

Response to 189024 -- If the fires are happening daily at the homeless camp along the Rail Trail, and the fire department (MFPD) has been out twice this month, yet the fires continue, why would there not be an option to take some level of preventative enforcement action as opposed to reactive only that is not solving the underlying issue? This would be a daily call to 911 if people in the area called every time there was a large, illegal fire. Is that the best use of resources, as opposed to the City cleaning the area up, removing those illegally burning on City property, and preventing any future fires from being started by those illegally camping on the property? The City refuses to address the problem, the county has to roll a truck out here due to the City's inaction, and the adjacent property owners suffer. All to protect illegal activity!
I am the President of the Board of Trustees at Unity of Bloomington. Our parking lot is partially owned by us, and partially City property as the B-Line runs behind our building on S. Rogers & Gordon Pk. (We currently maintain the entire parking lot vis-a-vis snow removal etc.) Recent changes, especially in Switchyard Park, have precipitated a migration of unhoused persons south on the B-Line trail. The UoB parking lot has become a stop-over for derelict vehicles and we're experiencing a significant increase in loitering and trash. The Board of Trustees recognizes that this is an important ministry opportunity, and we are engaged in prayerful consideration of reasonable steps forward. In the meantime, we host a nursery school in our facility and safety is an ongoing concern. My current request is this: 1. Could we receive help from the City to secure a larger trash barrel than the small trail-sized container currently in place near our parking lot (and would it be up to us or the City to tend it)? 2. Could the City help by providing a cigarette butt receptacle for our parking lot? (My husband and I collected more than 100 cigarette butts from the Unity parking lot before services last Sunday) 3. This cae has been sitting,unmoved, for about 10 days, at a curve in the road. It is preventing tree trimmers, leaf gatherers, garbage/recycling trucks from doing their jobs efficiently or, in the case of the tree service, at all. Please ticket and remove so that nobody hits it and services can proceed unhindered.
On December there was a frozen pipe that leaked into the kitchen floor and not into the sewer. Can you please look into this and consider giving me a credit? If you notice my previous bill, it was 103.38. Thanks,
It seems like raw sewage as well as toilet paper is coming out of this clean out for 414 s Lincoln street rental property. This seems like the second one of these situations in this Lincoln and University location.
