Debris Removal (Sand, General Street Debris)
334 S Rogers ST
- Case Date:
- 9/20/2020
A truck apparently lost two loads of branches on Rogers Street. Motorists had to drive around them as they were blocking the road. Someone then placed them in our yard. We have no way of dealing with this.
Water Utility Problems
414 S Owens DR
- Case Date:
- 9/20/2020
The city water connection that is in my back yard is leaking water directly into ground, and charging me for it.
If you pull off the top and remove the insulation in the iron-topped hole where water shutoff is, you will hear the constant leakage, and you can see it spraying out into the damp earth. No idea how long its been happening, but clearly for a while. It has the insulation wet, and that will freeze and cause further problems soon.

My house borders the park. Those trees need trimming. Branches and debris fall into my yard more than usual lately. Someone should look at those trees and trim the dead branches.

I regularly walk through the east side of the Southeast Park. At the southern edge of the park near Arden and Montclair, a fairly massive branch has cracked on a tree in the backyard of a private home and ended up balancing on its narrow tip on park property. As long as the larger, upper part of the branch stays securely fastened to the neighbor's tree, it seems not to be an emergency, were a young person to decide to climb it and stress the crack, they could put themselves in danger and the city might be found liable. It seems to me that the city should trim the heavy branch so it has no chance to hurt anyone.
Parking on Unimproved Surface

Recently the front yard of this property was largely covered with gravel. There were today 4 cars parked on what used to be partly a yard. It's strange and degrades the street and neighborhood. Is this legal?
