During the spring, leaves never fully developed, then shriveled and died. I'm not sure if the tree is dead. Today I've seen a woodpecker stripping bark. It's a very nice tree, and I'm hoping it can be saved. Thank you.
Jackson T. Kirby, 624 W. 8th St. UMS replaced my meter yesterday, and now my flow rate is significantly reduced. My kitchen faucet is rated at 1.5 gpm, but now flows at about .67 gpm. Maybe they didn't open the line all the way?
Hello. There is a problem with reckless driving in the Maple Heights neighborhood. I experience it on my daily walks on Fairview, 11th, Maple, 13th, Jackson, Rogers, etc... I see it and hear it throughout my day specifically on 13th street both west and east directions and Fairview both north and south directions. Frequently, it is a vehicle speeding north on Fairview, then turning east on 13th street. Then just a few minutes later the same car speeds in the reverse directions. Is this some sort of a methamphetamine pickup? I don't know. But it is regular, has been a regular occurrence, and I am tired of it. The worst regular occurrence are negligent, selfish motorists traveling at very high speeds from the east on 13th street heading west to Maple. I was taking in the recycling bin last night and could not believe the speed at which someone drove past me. This is not safe. There is a special needs adolescent in the neighborhood who sometimes dances around in the street. There are children that play and should have every right to play without cars traveling at high speeds past them. This is incredibly dangerous driving in a residential neighborhood and I would appreciate it if the police could enforce the traffic laws prior to their being property damage and/or personal injury. It appears that golden bamboo is growing on the sides of this driveway and back from W Parrish Rd
from Kinser Pike to 624 W Parrish Road the trees and bushes have grown out over the sidewalk so it is hard to walk along there (the sidewalk in on the N side of Parrish Road.
