The road is patched at Hoosier St and Limestone Dr, and in the last few days a pothole has formed. It's small but I guess due to the low speed of the roads it eats wheels pretty well.
Sidewalk at the southwest corner of Queens Way and Montclair is covered in a thick layer of sand and gravel. Can this be swept up please?
Construction workers from the path project here along Montclair near Southeast Park entrance left lots of debris behind along the sidewalk. They're long gone and didn't attempt to clean any of this up.
The trash or recycling truck drove through the median area in the middle of the cul de sac in between 500 and 501 South Arbutus Drive. This left deep tire ruts in the grass. City trash and recycling truck drivers normally back down our street since the trucks are too large to navigate the turn-around. The driver today may have been unfamiliar with this practice.
Just asking if someone could ck out the stop light at the twin lakes. Traffic is backed up to I-69 in the mornings and the light needs adjusted. It has turn lights on the west bound side a no one is there. East bound traffic is heavy in the morning and should be synchronized with the traffic lights a the interstate. Hello, I'm a second-year tenant of a house on S Woodlawn Ave. The walk home at night is very dangerous because there are no street lights once you get south of Atwater Ave. As a larger man, I luckily do not have to worry as much as about being abducted by any predators. However, I still worry about getting struck by a car because of the lack of visibility on the streets and sidewalks. We have guests that are women that fear coming to our house at night because of how dark the street gets and they could easily be abducted in the dark. My roommates and I often find ourselves having to walk guests to Atwater for them to feel safe. It is a public safety issue and I'm requesting that street lights are installed on Woodlawn Ave for a minimum of 5 blocks south of Atwater. Woodlawn is a highly trafficked area not only by cars, but pedestrians too. I'm a policy analysis major and would love to be involved in any research or implementation needed to solve this issue. There is an aggressive cat in our neighborhood. It is gray with white markings - chest is white. I've never gotten a great look at it. It's fast. I'm aware of 4 attacks on other cats over the last few months: my neighbor's cat was attacked, my own cat was attacked (required stitches), the cat came into another neighbor's house through a cat door and tangled with a cat in the house (I saw it then also and tried to capture it but failed), and this morning my wife heard/saw it attacking another neighborhood cat. I don't know if it belongs to a neighbor or is just wild. I don't see it often.
Hi. I live at 1418 S Palmer Ave. We are supposed to be able to park on the street in front of our house. However, the gravel has washed away and left a ditch that is impossible to park in (towards the far end in the photo). The result is that, when we park here, our cars are sticking out into the street more than they should be. Last week, my roommate's car was hit while parked here, which could in part be caused by this issue with the street parking area eroding. We are hoping that the City can come fill it with gravel or pave it so that we can park here without worrying about our cars sticking out into the street and getting hit. Thank you, Hannah
This household often leave garbage cans in the street for days. Our garbage was picked up on Monday and I can still sit out there today. Please tell them once again that they need to take the cans in the day the garbage is picked up.
Since Catalent is using Twin Lakes/Sportsplex for additional employee parking, traffic on W 2nd St. has become very heavy and SLOW, especially at shift changes. Are there any plans to add traffic lanes or additional turn lanes to 2nd St and/or the entrance/exit to Twin Lakes? Catalent is currently adding another 600+ positions, which will probably add more vehicles and slower travel times through this area.
