Trash still not taken out (week four, at least). Recycling cart full of trash. One bag on front porch has come open, spilling out food trash, which blows into others’ yards. This is not safe, and not cool. City says it’s monitoring, but it would seem not.

Hello, I am writing you again to address the storm water issue we have in front of our property. It has been almost a year since the process of fixing this issue has started and it is becoming frustrating. We have been very patient, and we understand that there are priorities in the city but if this issue is not addressed the road will continue to erode and soon we will not be able to access our driveway. As I stated, we started the process in March 2022; we waited until September and submitted another ticket UReport 181323; this time the crew came and did some work (since we did not receive any information, we did not know if they are finished by the way they left the project for the past few months). I wish I could attach more photos of the "finished " project. Anyway whenever they cleaned the trench, the asphalt was scraped, and everything was left as is and every time it rains all the dirt and sediments go in the culvert clogging it. The rain today made everything worse, the culvert is clogged and the water is again on the street. It is extremely frustrating and disappointing. Below is the first email we sent on March 14, 2022 Hello, We are contacting you with hopes of getting some advice regarding the storm water stream that runs along E Vernon Ave in Matlock Heights neighborhood. There is a storm/ rain water stream( path) that runs under N Dunn Rd , goes west on E Vernon Ave and under Fritz Dr and eventually goes into a larger creek. Over the past few years this pathway has been deteriorating with some of the road erosion happening right before the water goes into the culvert under our driveway. The previous owner of our property added some rocks and blocks but it does not solve the road erosion problem. I really don't want to cause trouble with neighbors I actually fear doing so but there's one on my street that seem to let their dog lose. I'm physically disabled and legally blind. Have a 19 year cat gas health problems too. Is considered a esa as well. I take outside on leash. I'm not only concerned for her but myself. The dog ran over to me when outside once. Jumped on me. The people yelled for it but did no act quickly. It ran back to them but came back jumped on me again. My cat loves being outside so tries to get out on own. She did once. I was able to get her in quickly but if that dog had been out it may have killed her. If this happens I don't think I'll be able to handle it! Please, investigate. Thank you

There are regularly cars stopped/parked in the bike lane on Washington between 4th and 3rd st's. Also further south between 3rd and 2nd st's. There is no signage saying cars can't park there, and there is certainly no enforcement of this law. I have hit cars, been hit by cars, been cussed at, yelled at and threatened by motorists parked in the bike lane here while I'm just trying to go home from work via bicycle. As a bicycle commuter who uses this bike lane 6 days/week, I would like to see some action taken to stop cars from parking/stopping/driving in the bike lane(s), especially here. I have a dozen or so photos with date and time of cars parked in the bike lane here that I can share if you'd like. Thank you

Hello! I work at WonderLab Science Museum. We were wondering what would be needed to improve a curb that is on the west side of our building in the front. It goes into an alley that school buses use. Bus drives have a very difficult time getting in without hitting the curb. This curb also has an accessibility ramp that does not line up with the rest of the side walk on 4th street going west (due to the entrance to the parking garage of the neighboring residence). The curb cut is currently closer to the alley way than on the corner of the sidewalk. We would like the ramp to moved to the corner of the curb for accessibility and bus movement. An oversized cut on that corner would be ideal. Thank you!
Feb 15 - I would like to uderstand what happened to my alley and stone wall. The alley that I maintain and mow since 2005 now has a load of greavel dumped on it - without any notification or reason. This makes it unsightly, less usable for walking and unmowable. Portions of the stone retaining wall along N Fairview Street have also been destroyed. Neighbors reported seeing a City truck knocking the wall down and then trying to jam it back in place with a backhoe. But the results of how it was left can be seen in the attached photo. Both of these will be costly to repair. Do you know who was responsible for this?
