Please see both #182475 and #182390. The light was replaced a block west (Cottage Grove / Washington intersection), but the purple light is still there at Lincoln / Cottage Grove. Was Duke made aware of this light, also?

Tenants are storing trash/recycling bins alongside the street (11th). They should be keeping them out of sight (garage, backyard, etc.), as per city code.

Blocked Sidewalk

[sorry if this is a duplicate but my first attempt hung at "Processing your service request". trying again without the pic]
Someone dumped the ashes from a grill into the middle of the sidewalk in front of 609 N Lincoln.
Also, right across the street is a sidewalk closed sign that I suspect someone took from somewhere else so you may also want to pick that up.
Thanks!

Street Trees

We watched as a swarm of bees relocated themselves to a large Maple tree at the corner of 11th and Washington. We are not concerned having the bees around, and love the tree, but have some concern for the health of the tree. The bees entered the tree through several openings, so it is obviously hollow to some extent. I am asking if you have someone to assess the tree since it is on city property. Thank you.

There is a hollow maple tree on city property at the corner of East 11th Street and Walnut Street. There is currently an active bee hive in it. Given how close the tree is to houses in the area, the fact that the tree is hollow is cause for concern. If the tree and the bee hive could be assessed, that would be appreciated. Thank you!
