Street Trees:

Other: We watched as a swarm of bees relocated themselves to a large Maple tree at the corner of 11th and Washington. We are not concerned having the bees around, and love the tree, but have some concern for the health of the tree. The bees entered the tree through several openings, so it is obviously hollow to some extent. I am asking if you have someone to assess the tree since it is on city property. Thank you.

Bee's have made a home of the tree, which is a natural thing for bee's to do. Tree seems to be in good health, and was cabled at some point in the past, will continue to monitor for signs of decline, and may have the cabling system inspected.
