I am writing to report a broken tree limb that poses a safety concern. It appears that the limb was damaged during the storm we experienced at the end of March 2023. The tree in question is located on city land outside of my property boundary at 1301 W. 8th Street in Bloomington. The broken limb is specifically situated at the intersection of Adams Street and 8th Street, where there is a significant amount of pedestrian traffic. The footpath visible in the attached picture is frequently used by pedestrians crossing from the sidewalk on Adams Street onto 8th Street. The presence of the broken tree limb in this area creates a potential safety hazard for pedestrians. Additionally, there is a slight concern that the broken limb obstructs the view of the Adams Street bridge for drivers turning right onto Adams Street from Fountain. This obstruction may affect the visibility of oncoming traffic, potentially leading to traffic incidents or delays. I kindly request that the relevant department of Bloomington takes immediate action to address this issue. It is crucial to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists in the area by removing the broken tree limb and conducting any necessary tree maintenance or inspection. Weeds and invasive trees taking over the whole property, and on the north end, spreading onto my property.
THIS is somehow better than it was before the NOV?!!!! THIS is unacceptable! Those are STORAGE BINS under that tarp...those belong IN a shed or something! Plus there are tires stacked up and a ton of other stuff! This HAS NOT been resolved!
Trash bags on neighbor's property, left out in the open, yet again.
More trash on neighbor's back porch, been there since yesterday.
Animals have now torn into the bag of garbage on the neighbor's back porch, been there for days at this point
Neighbors still leaving bags of trash on back porch, animals tear into them, getting trash all over the neighborhood, but mostly on my property. This bad has been on their back porch since Saturday. Found dozens of new pieces of garbage in my yard/street from them. I took a video, it's pretty obvious where all this trash is coming from. Do something more than tickets please, this is so far past ridiculous.
