Why isn’t the city addressing the deer population? They are a nuisance, attacking my dogs and destroying property.

Dead deer carcass in yard - 509 S Highland Ave
Was near 910 S Highland Ave on 5/21/24 around 7:30a while walking my dog and deer came out of nowhere, charged at us and would not back down; came as close as a foot from us. Another dog walker on Maxwell heard the commotion and helped distract it so we were able to get away. Do not feel safe at all walking around the area since I'm guessing there is a fawn nearby.
Was walking my dog near 811 S Fess Ave around 12:45p on 5/28/24 when a doe charged at us and would not leave us alone. A gentleman stopped his car since he saw what was happening and assisted in making sure we were able to get away. Assuming a fawn is nearby given the behavior. This keeps happening on a regular basis around Elm Heights and I do not feel safe walking around my own neighborhood due to the deer being too aggressive towards both humans and dogs.
Deer would not allow me and my dog to walk north on Stull Ave where I live. Doe kept coming at us no matter what side of the street and had to go along Park Ave in order to avoid her. This is the second time this week that this has happened; first time we did see a fawn on the grassy area of 830 S Stull. I am so frustrated over not feeling safe walking around my neighborhood due to the does this time of year being too assertive and charging at me and my dog. There are too many deer in this urban area and something needs to be done to control the population since it seems like it is going unchecked.
dead squirrel has remained on sidewalk at corner for 10 days or more; homeowner or city should remove carcass
There is a dead raccoon next to our driveway (technically on our neighbor’s property). Is there a city department that can remove the body or is that something we are supposed to do? If the latter, can it go in our regular trash? Thank you.
Dead Opossum on the sidewalk on Hawthorne Dr as marked on map
On Sunday evening I caught some photos of a loose dog on Southdowns between Manor and Hawthorne. The dog is frequently out on its own and tends to stay within that block roughly. It lives in a red house on Southdowns. My main concern is that this Sunday I was on a walk and observed the dog almost get hit by two vehicles in the road, I had to re-route my walk with my dog because this dog was at-large with an unknown temperament, and the dog also went to the bathroom in the grass by the creek without being cleaned up by the owners (due to being oblivious to where their dog was at the time). Is there anything that can be done to try to keep the dog safe and other drivers and pedestrians safe too? Thanks.
Aggressive deer coming into our backyard are a hazard to our small dog.
