This is a thank you. I have recently noticed workers in Bryan Park playgrounds using a bucket and a spiked pole to pick up pieces trash. Such an improvement over using leafblowers.
Please also answer this question: when workers are using leafblowers in the playgrounds, what is the reason? I have several times uReported my objections to that practice that stirs up dust, creates noise pollution, and fills the air with exhaust fumes. All that, it seemed to me, without any real purpose. But let me add: I have also noticed much less leafblowing recently. For that, THANKS!

Thank you! This morning I discovered that the boardwalk on the path through the middle of Bryan Park has had grit strips installed!! Thank you. This is the boardwalk I slipped on last January and injured my wrist badly enough to have a cast on it for 8 weeks. So, I am very grateful that the surface has been improved! Thank you! There is a tent erected in Seminary Square Park. Someone appears to be living in it. Worst government in 50 years. Why do you pass these ordinances if you don’t plan to enforce.

I found a needle underneath a bench on the b-line this morning when I was opening the WonderLab garden gates. This happens every few months. Would it be possible to get a sharps container on the b-line? Or could the city help WonderLab get a sharps container? It is not on our property, but the presence of sharps could directly impact our visitors.

Please do away with the percent fee system for food and beverage vendors at the farmers market. It's not fair for them to have a different rate than the farmers and they bring lots of customers to the market, in addition to adding a large variety of food choices.

Last w/e, found pieces of shattered, clear glass on the limestone steps by the creek. Location is adjacent to the volley ball net. I picked up the larger pieces. Today I walked thru the area; with the sunlight, can still see several pieces about dime and quarter sized. Can easily cut or embed in feet or paws. Can someone sweep or vacuum? Thank you.

I love the farmers market. Can you please stop charging so much for people to sell in the market? The city should support local vendor not ruin them. Such a shame. Stop charging so much to people selling food! We only have ONE local bakery shop that sells sourdough.
