I went to the Parks and Rec website pages to find where all the parks are in the City. I found it in the program guide, but it would be nice if this were online and interactive (when I mouse over a location, I'm provided with descriptive info about the place and its amenities). Is this in the works? Also - there is a site called "Millenium Park" on Adams Street across from one of the Bloom Apartment complexes. They have doggie bags and some trashcans for full doggie bags, but the trashcans are always overflowing. Just wondering who owns and caretakes this park - I'm not seeing it among the parks that the City owns and cares for.
Hello, I have a question about the city's pesticide program. I was wondering if fireflies have been taken into account, including how firefly hang out in grasses and, especially, how firefly larvae eat various insects and other creatures that might have ingested pesticides. Since fireflies are diminishing throughout the world for various reasons that seem to be mostly unknown (besides the obvious like habitat loss), pesticide use and light pollution are two theories for why based on current research. The pesticide-use theory links it to a slow diminishment, so still having fireflies doesn't mean pesticide use isn't an issue. I am grateful for the fireflies we have in our area, and this question has been on my mind for a while, so I wanted to check in and see what information you have. I appreciate your time. Thank you, Karisha Kirk
The southwest half of court(closest to the school)has a very deep crevice. One of our ladies that play there often( three x a week) almost fell. She had had two hip replacements. It is a hazard for all that play. Other courts happened to be full.
There was a vehicle without a license plate in RCA Park tonight that was driving back into the woods area. They dod this by removing a fence barrier, diving on the grass and then on the paved path. They were parked back by the old torn down shelter house. They were being quite loud. They were then driving on the pavement. I am sending photos that may appear as several messages.

Tree down across the Bloomington Rail Trail north of Gordon Pike
The Monroe County Indiana Jeepers flew a large flag at the 4th of July parade that said "Let's Go Brandon." It's well known that this is a phrase used to say "F*** Joe Biden." I'm disappointed that this group used such a unifying community event to display this message. The Monroe County Republicans and Democrats were both pleasant and waved at the crowd without resorting to this type of negativity. I hope flags and signs like this will not be tolerated in parades in the future.
Street tree missing downtown in front of the bishop bar. Area currently being used as a cigarette butt collector. Please address this and the smoking law adjacent to buildings.
